I do sell coverts. They are the only camera I use and they asked me to become a dealer years ago.

    Looking good!

Decided I am holding off on checking cams/planting my winter rye until August 23rd/24th - My birthday weekend. Stay out as much as possible the last part of summer, and hopefully have a few nice bucks on cam for a birthday present to myself.

Thanks. For around here, it truly is a great buck, droptine and all.

That bear photo was taken not to far behind my house this summer, right before a bear attacked one of my horses, so he's high on my list.

Leave cameras soak until a week or so before opener, shoot a lot more, scout as many nights as I can until opener and consider moving another stand. Have some goose hunting to do before bow opener so that will consume a fair amount of my time as well.

I just finished some touchups and practice shots from some ground blinds and climber. Last I'll be messing with that til hunting, just keeping to practice in the yard. Moving a few cams around to see if I can narrow down some movement and trying a few new spots just to See if worth pursuing. Hoping for rain to help last plots grow. They'll be more late season anyway. Season can't come soon enough

I need to touch up a couple of shooting lanes yet. I am going to re try planting one of the two food plots I have this weekend. The experts are forecasting some rain this weekend. lol Continue getting my new Bow dialed in.

Jake, I bought a Carbon Spyder. I was shooting a P.S.E. X-force. I have had it since 2008. I had no complaints with it, but I had the itch to get a new Bow. It doesn't help when you see 1-2 new Bow posts a day. lol. I shot for an hour in the back yard today. I have it dialed in up to 30 yards. That's as far as I can go in the yard. Next week I will take it to the outdoor range.

    That's awesome!

I'm still shooting the 2006 Bear Instinct my dad got me a few years back. A little history for the fellow Minnesotans and teammates: My dad bought me the bow when I was 21 - I was still in college and was too busy partying and paying attention to girls etc and never got into bow hunting. Fast forward to last year - My dad passed away in June and I made myself get in the woods with the bow he got me. I dedicated the season to him and ended up taking my first deer with a bow on October 13th.

I keep telling myself that I will be getting a new bow, but just cant make myself do it. I told myself I plan on using the 2006 Bear until I shoot my first buck... Then I MIGHT think about getting a new one.

Well Saturday is the day. Tomorrow Im going to pick up my new tree harness and a salt lick and pack the truck. Saturday I'm going out to the deer hunting land and taking a weed wacker with to cut a small trail to the deer stand so that way I dont sound like a heard of cattle walking out there this fall. Im also going to cut a little bigger area where the salt lick is so the weeds dont trigger my camera. Then, I'll be hanging my stand up and clearing shooting lanes. Once this is all done, I'll check the camera and get out. I probably should have done this a month ago but with a 13 month old, its tough to get out!! I've got a couple good ones on the camera so we'll see what the last two weeks have brought, then I'll share some pics!!
