My name is Chris and I am from Bossier Parish in the northwestern part of Louisiana. I will be hunting two separate tracts of family owned land that totals around 300 acres. Our land has a very healthy deer population and at least two nice bucks survived last season here, I'm hoping to get pics of them in a bachelor group soon.

I am from the Amarillo area of Texas which is the Panhandle area. I hunt two different counties and several different properties within them. In addition to bowhunting, I am an avid photographer, bicyclist, and my favorite, snow skiing.

I just finished my last organized bike ride for awhile on Saturday, so I am in full bowhunting mode at the moment, with a lot of preparation and practice on the agenda from this point forward.

I am 54 years old, married for over 30 years, and have one 21 year old son. I am in the cattle feedlot business.

My name is Ben and I am from Monroe which is in NELA. I mostly hunt in Tensas Parish which borders the MS River. We are known to have some of the bigger bucks in the state but I'm not promising anything. This year I will be headed down to LSU (Geaux Tigers!) I may not be able to hunt much early on in the season but I plan to spend all of my breaks in the woods.

My part of the state is also October 1st-January 31st. Thanksgiving time is usually my best chance at a buck due to rut activity.

Our rut in the Tensas area normally really kicks in around New Years and runs pretty much through the remainder of the season

This past season seemed a little later than usual, it seemed to peak in early December. But some bucks were running does in November which is normal most years.

we have 3 different counties we hunt here and all 3 rut at different times. so if i time it right i can hunt 3 different ruts. and thats if they rut close to on schedule too.

i would say by sep 20th. i know a bunch of people (me included) are headed to CO for elk/mule deer that week. unless we have to submit a buck taken in our state. which i didnt see that anywhere i dont think.

No matter where your first bow kill is done it is still taken by you and due to that it would score on this team as it is where the hunter is from not the deer.

I know florida has seasons that start in August and we have at least one member from Florida. I just don't know where they hunt or what their dates are.

My bowhunting season starts September 13th, here in Florida. I also have a lease up in Dublin, GA that I hunt at. Last year I had three decent 8pts present themselves but wouldn't give a good shot oppurtunity so hopefully ill put one down this year!
