    Yeah I know. I think a lot of guys feel we don't have a chance with the "Booner States" that are in it. Trust me, NC and VA has some Giant deer and I think we will surprise some people.

    Sharpeyesam, you have some great animals on your radar and I wish you the best of luck! Not all of us will be as well prepared, so make us proud!

    I will be rolling threw dice on some public land again this year in central NC. I've had little time to practice this year (coming off a shoulder injury, hopefully my last visit with the Ortho on Friday) and feel a bit ill prepared this year, but hopeful.

    I did a bit of scouting Saturday after all the rain and found deer tracks where I expected (indicating deer within the last 8-12 hrs) and even jumped a doe--validation. For me, I'm not looking for a BBC this year just want to be on the board and full the freezer.

    I did not catch this soon enough so I'm out but good luck to the rest of you. It burns my bottom to hear people say there ain't no big deer in Virginia and the Carolinas but we know better. Right?!! So l set show em. :tu:
