That was a tacticam and I never touched that one. I was to busy fumbling with the focus on the Canon. I will get some video on that before the season is over though.

Haha that's too funny. Now I would have figured it would be opposite! Figured it would be easier to just forget about the canon and be done with the stabilizer camera. But I bet the quality is much better on the canon?

I'm looking forward to get Lori out with me so either her or I can do a little filming with my canon as well.

In a tree. Probably gonna pull an all dayer, just depends on what I see and how bad the wind gets...

Good luck brother. Cousin reported this morning that bucks are starting to chase in Virginia. Says he was covered up this morning.

I took off Thursday and Friday this week. There is a cold front moving in and they cut the corn across the road from where I am hunting. The bonus is that my cousin reported this morning he was wrapped up in deer so I an hopefully the dark cloud in Virginia will move out with the cold front coming in. Another note that Chris may be interested in is that today I started getting daylight pictures of bucks cruising the fields edge. Things are starting to ramp up I think.

Just got some great news guys.

They are picking the corn today on two of my leases today, and they picked it on my family farm on Monday..

All that corn out should have them running all over the place!

Perfect storm is brewing for a spooky weekend!!

    Good news Tony!

Craig and I will have an eventful weekend hopefully too. We have 2 cold fronts coming through. One tobifht that drops us down in the 60s and then the second one Friday night that drops us into the low 50s. It'll be 30 Saturday morning!! Can't wait!

Ouch! You might do more harm than good, my friend, if you continue to pull your shoulder when it should be healing! Don't you worry about leaving us down a man, we'll do the best we can and enjoy the woods better than any other team! We just want to see you heal and be able to bowhunt next season.

Are you able to get out and hunt at all with your guns? I remember you saying you're not much of a rifle hunter but man I love hunting and the woods to much to stay out!!

How's the shoulder feeling besides trying to pull back your bow? What's the Doc say?

The wife and I got the new tree stands hung Wednesday night. The evening went so well that I took her out for Mexican dinner. What a mistake!

Needless to say we hunted the last two days, but between the severe gut cramps and a low grade fever I felt like crap--- literally! We saw 3 bucks in three sets. All dinks. After sitting in the rain this morning and getting the chills I called it a day.

Wait—it gets better-- Couldn’t get home because the high winds that started after lunch today blew over some trees and blocked the road to the house. They also took out my power line.

Looks to be a dark cold house on HALLOWEEN night.

I think I am skipping tomorrow- High winds 20+ and 16 degree wind chill factor forecast in the morning. I better stay home and get healthy. :(

Oh man sounds like an interesting week! It's calm and quiet in the stand right now. Miss Lori wasn't feeling to well this past week, so we talked it over and decided the next few hunting days was a good idea.

I'm along a creek edge right now. 3 seasons ago on Halloween I put a dandy down right here so hopefully his kin decides to carry on the tradition haha

No luck tonight boys. Not a single deer. Even tho I know all to well not every hunt produces deer, it still comes as a bummer.

The last 3 sits have been deerless. I'll be out bright and early tomorrow, hoping with a deer close by!

Well after tonight's sit I think I have a shooter nailed down. I found where he is living and we have seen him twice this week. I am going after him tomorrow night.

Good luck! Looking forward to seeing some pictures with you and him.

I'm sitting in the car right now about to head out to my stand. It's a rainy morning today. Second guessing where I should sit...in the rain or in the dryness of a closed in stand. I'm hoping the rain will turn to drizzle and thst then would make for a perfect morning.
