Here is some video I took from when we went to north central PA to see elk. You can see elk regularly for about a 15 mile radius around the town of Benezette.

Here is some footage from the past two days of hunting. I was sitting over a 60 acre crp field behind our house. It has been pretty windy so the deer were a little spooky.

My setup is a Canon Vixia HF10 with the canon dm100 microphone. For my tree arm I use the Gorilla tree arm with a $30 fluid head on eBay.

Hey fellas I haven't been too vocal around here, only had one in-state sit so far in VT, that was oct 5th. Passed on two yearling does within 20 yards-gimme shots. Nice just to get out and see deer in the food plot!
Next Thursday is when the fun begins, 5:00am I'll be jumping in the truck and heading to northern KY to pick my dad up, (he leaves tomorrow for a week on a lease there) and then driving from KY to north central Missouri for 7-10 days on our lease there! I will without a doubt be bringing venison home, so count on 50pts minimum! I will be pretty selective on bucks, 140" minimum so no guarantees in 7 days there but I'm sure a thunderhead will find an old doe somewhere! Might try to get one more sit in this weekend up to camp, but my season is just ramping up!

I'll shut up and start packing now!

Hey guys who ever is the captain of this team which I think is powerhawk might want to see about getting an alternate for me. I tore my rotators cuff and am out of action. I'm so sorry guys but I don't want to be dead weight to you guys.

Wow sorry to hear that. Thanks for letting us know. I will PM Fitz about it. Will you be able to hunt rifle season?

Probably not, it won't effect me too much I don't like rifle hunting that much.

Will you need surgery on it or just let it heal and therapy?

Well I've had an interesting morning so far.

Now that I'm not living on the farm anymore, I have to pack up everything and tske with me. Well like most, I target practice during the week in my back yard. I'll give you one guess to what I forgot.....

Broadheads.....haha that's almost as bad as forgetting my bow. So all I have is field tips. Sooo if a squirrel doc or yore comes by then I'll shoot but looks like I'll be passing the deer! Hopefully the big boy doesn't come through

    Oh man--- That sucks Chris..

Heading out this evening after work to do a hunt with the wife in her ground blind. Last Friday she had a good buck come in, but couldn't get a shot.

Tonight I am setting with her and will try to rattle him in. Should be a fun evening
