Step son and his friend took a nice little 6 pointer last night. Go tty shoo to on video but I did not account for one thing... I don't have anything with a firewire port and they used an old MiniDV camera.. Doohh If well when I get it off there I will post it here for all to see.

Yes those are beans. The back of the beans were still a little green so the deer love them.

All this time I have been thinking you need to be in the woods in Camo and war paint to kill a deer. I could just drive around the neighborhood and get one.

John- I was looking at the scoring thread this morning and noticed they didn't rack up your points.

Did you save the paper work when you scored your buck? If so you could take a pic of it and post it.

If not no biggie.. This deal is all for fun anyway!

LMAO-- Wes you need to mount a couple of x-bows on your hood and start terrorizing the neighbor hood!

Well no deer on the way to work this morning. But hopefully there will be some this afternoon when I'm sitting in a stand. Should be out by 3 at the latest.

Well my friend and I will be stuck at the game lands for the next two weeks until fall break. It's okay because we scouted a lot and found 4 or 5 really promising spots. Hopefully I have some video tonight of him shooting a buck or die.

Miss Lori and I wont be getting back out until this weekend sometime, I am slammed at work. It doesn't look like a cold weekend for us but the good news is that the wind is looking promising for me to try out a spot I've scouted the end of last year. Hopefully it will produce like i'm hoping! Good luck to all that can get out and hunt

    Can’t wait for tonight’s hunt

Got a great wind to hunt this plot tonight.

A scrape has shown up on the southwest corner of the plot. I set a cam on it this past weekend. I have a tree stands sitting at each end of this plot. The plot sit east to west with a creek on the north side of it, and a thick hilly bedding area south of it.
Going to slip in pull the chip see what’s on it, and hunt the west stand tonight.

Hoping one of these two deer are the creator of the scrape and strolls in this evening.

I hope there is a news at 11 to report!

Well that was fun. Took a little longer then I wanted. I'm running and gunning tonight. Sitting in a spot I scouted last year, only thing is, it's on one side of the property, and my climber was on the other. I'm set up now though, was gonna film, but I dropped my damn cam arm base when I was getting it strapped to the tree, so no film tonight. Also on an even worse note, checked cams on the way in and had the big 10 and the big 12 in front of a cam at 730am sat morning. Should have listened to the wife when she woke me up at 330 to see if I was going hunting and jut forgot to set an alarm.

And it just keeps getting better, there is now some type of equipment on the farm next to where I hunt doing something. I hear a lot of limbs and stuff snapping, so I'm guessing dozing or digging or cutting of some sort.... FML....

I wish all my stands were as comfy as this climber is. I love this thing. Just too bad straight trees to climb are few and far between around here.

I know exactly what you mean Wes. That's why I only get lock on stands now with the sets with straps, just like our climbers. Now all my stands are compfy!

Well if I was turkey hunting I would be happy.. Got 2-3 birds working their way towards me. Didn't buy a fall turkey tag this year....
