This was my number 1 last year. He has been MIA since November, pretty sure he gone. This was my number 2. He is still alive as far as I know. Just not sure if I have any pictures of him this year. But had some right before he shed his antlers, and after he shed one side. Never found the sheds though.
Holy Crap! Obviously I am in the wrong league, is there a beginners league lol. My goal is to put a deer down with my bow. Last year I was so close to a small 6, but he was about 10 yards away on my right side. I couldn't turn and fire since I'm right handed. Broke my heart just sitting there watching him. And that was in the beginning of October. I hunted all the time for the rest of the season and didn't see another deer.
Wesley both deer are beautiful man. The #1 has that great looking slingshot that I just love. I'd be ecstatic just to see one of those guys in the stand, I don't think I'd be able to pull the string back I'd be shaking so much.
Don't feel bad, I passed on a solid 130" 8 last year on opening day. Had him broadside at 15yds. He was the best buck I seen on hoof all year long. Had a chance at the number 2 buck on Halloween, only I was in the wrong stand. Had him right in from of my blind/cam at last light, only i was 40 yds away in a stand.
Semper-- you need to get the first one under your belt.. It took years of management get deer like I posted..
Oh I'm patient. I love being out there. I'd sit for 8 hours and not see a thing, just happy to be in the woods. I won't give up, eventually that first one will make the right step for me and the wrong step for it.
Yea, I'm worried detroit didn't make any moves really, had money to spend but no body wanted to come in and play. Really needed to shore up the d a little.
Just put my NAP Killzones on my arrows and gave a few shots at my target. I couldn't be happier. I'm right on at 20-40. Last year I used the G5's and I had to make some adjustments. This will be my first year using mechanicals.
My vote on team name is All Racked Up. I'm an Elvis fan and i was singing "All Shook Up" yesterday and felt inspired. You have my vote for Capt.
Checking in fellas, my name is Kyle, from north western VT but don't worry I'll be hunting a couple weeks in Missouri this year so I will hopefully have a crack at a good buck! Maybe a doe in VT as well. And definitely a doe or two in Missouri! I'm not on her as much as I use to be but I'm still around and still hunting as much as ever!
I've always said I don't care what the name of my teams are, just as long as it says winner next to it at the end of the season. Hasn't happened yet, but I'm ever hopeful.
