So I got some great news yesterday. One of my farms got crop damage permits so my season started 5 days early. I'm sitting in stand right now and it's raining acorns now all I need is a deer to walk by.

Well it all worked out tonight and a doe did walk in front of me. Shot her at 12 yards and she went about 80 yards and dropped.
Good job bud, just a reminder on when you post the score, 2 different pictures with you, deer, and bow, and date and time you harvested.
Beautiful doe Copper! Team 9 on the board! Saturday opens bow season for NC!! Can't wait! I'll be doing a morning hunt and maybe an afternoon hunt if I get time. I also got to walk around a different spot on my property this afternoon as well. Was looking for more white oak trees. Found a good number of them dropping in one area so I think I know where i'll be focusing!
Thats awesome. Only I am getting with bone is zero dark thirty. Hopefully he keeps that pattern until October.
Hey Gents, Just checking in. Shot a few this evening and things are looking good for this weekend. We hung a few more stands and set out a ground blind here in NC. I want be able to hunt in the morning saturday because my step son has to take SATs and I promised him I would wait. Sunday is only supposed to be a high of 68 which is a 18 degree drop from today and Saturday has a 80% chance of rain. If it rains I probably won't take the camera out maybe go pro though. Getting a little excited to say the least. Generally I don't get excited till Virginia season starts. Everyone that is going out this weekend good luck and be safe.
Well I almost sent a T3 at a fork horn this morning in full velvet. Wouldn't of done much points wise for the team but I want to stick one in velvet in the worst way! Needless to say I didn't get a shot opportunity so he got a free pass.
