Go to post #35 and load the picture, right click and save to computer, then go to "settings" at the top of the page and there will be an "avatar" section. Click that and it will say "upload from computer".... just find the file on your computer and upload it.

I'm in. Sorry it took so long. I'm in east Texas and will be hunting several Texas properties and got drawn for Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge. I have high hopes for this season. One property I'm on hasn't been hunted in 8 years. I saw 2 shooter bucks, (120s, shooters to me), last week while installing cameras. I also have a couple of does on camera under one of my stands on a daily basis. Now if they will just show up on Oct. 1st!

    Welcome Txjourneyman!!

I posted on the "No Shows" thread that we have 3 currently.... SO we might be getting some new hunters soon! I think we have a pretty great team and the best Avatar of them all :nana:

I am going up to my hunting place this weekend to check my trail cam for the first time this year :) If I dont see any shooters on it I am saving my money and hunting in Indiana lol

Hey Shayne, welcome aboard. Let us know where you are hunting and, of course, how it goes this evening. Weather's been great in the KC MO area, hope the same for you.

My first day out will be this coming Thursday and Friday. Can't wait.

Been having trouble paper tuning my bow. Last year it was spot-on. Now it's hitting the paper nock high and I haven't changed a darn thing. I'm having to lower the nock point about 1/4" below the plane of the rest, and I know that just can't be right. It was causing the string to slap the side of the string silencer and the string would get stuck on the side of it, not the middle. Funny thing, I was able to hit a 2" target 3 out of 5 shots at fifty yards, but I know the set-up is wrong. I put the nock point about 1/4" above the rest and the string slap is gone, but the paper is still showing nocks about an inch high. Ouch! The only thing I can think of is a tiller problem. String is 3 yrs old, but it looks good. Taking it to the shop this evening. Oh, and BTW, I blew about $15 when I robin hooded while shooting last night - Dang!
