I'll be in Ontario from Nov 5-15 and the WI gun season opens the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Though, I generally don't hunt much during the WI gun season. I'll go out a little with the ML after the gun season is over.
Sorry I've been kinda quiet just trying to get family stuff taken care of before season really gets going. I generally don't gun hunt much til November and this year will probably be the same way. Muzzleloader opens Nov. 1 then General Firearm Nov. 15 so I won't be doing much til then. I do have an area I can start gun hunting Oct. 1 but I usually don't gun hunt much that early unless the kids and I go out. I know we got team captain squared away and I'm guessing we're still working on the name. I'll try and come up with a couple to throw in the pot.
Going to the new property this weekend and plan on getting areas set up for my pop up blinds. I plan on setting them on paths created throughout the timbers. Hopefully using these as shooting lanes, i'll be able to poke a little further with the mossberg. First hard horn for the property ill be chasing....
Gun season here in Michigan starts in two weeks! Hoping to get one down before then but, maybe the big guy will come around Opening morning!
