Hey guys, didnt put anything on the ground yet. Had an opportunity at that big buck in my trail cam pics last night. Gosh that thing had me all messed up lol shaking like a leaf! Came in at 20 yards and I think he knew I wasnt gonna shoot him. I just hope my friend really appreciates what Im doing for him...cuz everyone I have talked to says they would have shot the thing despite the fact.

Other than that I have only been out 2 more times and seen about 7 deer. Only fawns gave me shot opportunities and thats a big no-go for me :) Hopefully this weekend I can tag something brown n fuzzy...hunting a new 200 acre farm loaded with deer.

Good luck to you kydeerhunter, it'll happen! Well, after 5 hours of driving all over Knox county, I got on to a 10 acre farm, not much land, but its got some potential. There's thick woods bumping up the the property on one side, and the other neighbor had a pond. Behind the property is about 300 acres of corn. So something will go down. As far as a captain goes, I'm more than willing, I'm on this thing enough anyway...just tell me what y'all want or need from me.

I'm cool with you being Captain and as far as what I want? How about a new Mathews with all the fixins and I need you to pay for it! LOL.
Really though I'm all for you being Captain, I don't know about anyone else. I offer my help if you need it.

Rut Junkie is the only one that hasn't checked in and I left him a visitor message last night.

How about a name? Maybe everyone can vote for the one they like the best. Mine is:
    Rack Pack

That's awesome DBB!!!! What does everyone else think?

Is everyone OK with DrawBackBowhunting as Captain?

What about names, any other ones?

I guess a Team17 "Children of the Horn" lost a real nice buck! That sucks!

Thanks Bob, I'll come up with a few more around lunch time. After work Im heading out to look at a piece of property I might be able to get on. Nice area, and thick timber. Keep your fingers crossed. No matter what though, I promise you I put points on the board.

So is DBB captain & rack pack the team name? I'm fine with both of those choices.

Two and a half weeks until I get out hunting. Can't wait. I havn't hunted for 15 years. I hope I don't get buck fever when the decent 8 I've seen on the cam comes around.

Draw back the logo is awesome! Great job! How do we each get hold of it? Do you have to e-mail it to us?
Drag n Brag I'm jealous, any pictures?
    When does everyone's season open?

I haven't hunted Mass. in six years and they changed the laws on me. I have to apply for a doe permit for archery???? Just another way to get more money. They are crying because there are so many deer yet they make it harder for you to get them.
I had until Aug. 15 to apply but (didn't know) if there are any leftovers come Oct 8th I can buy them for $5 each but I will have to take whatever district is open.

    Hello gents and ladi...

Sorry.. you'll have to excuse me as I don't get into the forums often (spend much of my time doing "other" things on this website).

DBB has my vote as well.. the team name works for me too.

DBB... are you an amateur MMA fighter? Wondering because of your past avatar.

So you dudes and dudette knows.. I'm an Illinois hunter who was born under the sign of the 'water bearer' and I'll be spending much of my time hunting/filming several pieces of ground with my homeboy Justin (JZ) where we'll be chasing a plethora of bucks. Although the use of the word plethora is anything but warranted since we actually only have 1 shooter on cam as of yet. But.. I know and am confident in our lands.

Also.. I will send out my phone # to the team.. however please do not contact me with any naked pics (unless they are of your wife).

    That is all.

Hey mike, I'm assuming your Mike Willand? New to the forums here, not new to the site though. Enjoy watching your hunts brother! To answer your question about the fighting, yes Im an amateur mma fighter. So far I'm 9-0, hold 2 belts in the welterweight division, 2 different promotions. But, the promoters know not to call me between Oct. 1 and January 16...better priorities! Good luck to you this season man! Can't wait to see the film, I know there will be some good stuff from you.
