Having a crappy hunting season --too much work, too few deer/hunting opps.

Good luck all, if you have the chance to get out. Regardless have a blessed Thanksgiving!

Deer in my neighborhood must have gone south for the winter. Haven't seen a thing the last several sits. Getting close to time to put the bow away and start ice fishing.

Muzzleloader season started this last weekend...The girlfriends uncle went out and didn't see a thing.

But... My trail cams are telling me a different story. After not getting a single daytime pic of the decent 10 all year, I have gotten about 6 of them in the last week. I need to get into the stand this weekend!

Gun season ended up here yesterday. Going to try to get out for a doe soon....need to give them some time to recover from all the pressure.

Gun season runs through the EOY, but I found a nice run into a bedding area that I think I'll set up on with the bow, on my next outing.

I also had a nice surprise awaiting me when I got home from the airport last night...winner, winner...[IMG]

Haven't checked the cams in about 2 weeks... Will be getting out this weekend.

Getting to be that time of the year where does are fair game. Will be pulling cards tonight to see what kind of action we have.

Was able to smack a nice doe on Friday! 85 yds right at last light. Ran 30 and fell over!

I will be out this sunday... If it's bigger than a fawn it is getting an arrow.

    Merry Christmas everyone!

I will be out tomorrow afternoon - Most likely my last sit of the year.

    Well my season is over.

Ate tag soup for both archery and rifle seasons this year. Passed on a lot of deer and missed the 2 bucks I shot at. This year was a huge learning experience and I cannot wait for next season!

Likewise on the tag soup and the season being over. Though we do have nearby urban archery seasons that run into Feb, one of my shoulders is toast...hoping it may just need some cortisone...

2 weeks left of season here. Wind is ridiculous today. Hoping I can get out 2 or 3 more times, but that will depend on work schedule. Sorry for not being any help this year guys. I'm really disappointed in my season. I saw quite a few deer, even got busted drawing a few times, just never able to get things to go my way :(
