Good news... Working close to home and get to leave at 3 today. Will get to the stand with an hour of light left!

Helping with youth archery hunt this weekend. Hoping the kids have good luck so the adults can try :)

    Scored and entered fellas (here).

96 6/8" Really thought he would be 100", but the busted MB and left G3 didn't help.

Saw 4 turkeys on Sat and a mess of squirrels. I'm thinking I should bring a .22 or a bunch of field points for my next outing.

Next Sat is opener for rifle and I promised a buddy and his boy I'd take them out... But I'm hoping to maybe sneak out one day later this week since I'll be working from home this next week.

Minnesota firearms opening weekend is a wrap. Saw a few does but none close enough to shoot.

I was out with my rifle all weekend... Passed on a 4pt and a doe. The 4pt wandered Ito the neighbors and 5min later there was a shot.

Not sure how much more bowhunting I'll get it. 10-12 inches of snow tonight with frigid temps through the next week.

Still an awesome buck man! I couldnt pass it up either. That's why I'm glad I'm not a big trophy hunter. True I don't want to shoot any small 4s or nothing but just shoot what makes me happy. As each year goes by tho my standards of what I wanna shoot changes. Like next year I'd like to wait on a 100 class or better. I think thats very doable i all ready have a 140 class on the wall and its my only buck besides the 5 I got this year so why pass up descent shooters! Lol then of course after I get mine tho monster shooters show up on cam lol but oh well glad I'm young and have my whole life to hunt lol.

How much snow you guys get?

We got just over 12 inches here fifteen miles east of St. Cloud. Now the bottom falls out as far as temp...

Feels weird not being out. Granted, fall turkey is in, but I've been swamped after work playing catch up with everything I've neglected over the past few weeks :D Not to mention I have all but an hour or so of daylight after work.

I did see our farmer cut the corn this week. May sit in a stand tomorrow evening with camera in hand to see what comes out.

    Keep at it everyone!

Unfortunately I'll be out again this weekend with my rifle... If I do not tag out I will be a weekend warrior with my bow for the rest of the year.

Good luck! Bear season is just around the corner here in PA (well, archery bear is currently in). Then our two week rifle season for deer comes in the Monday following Thanksgiving. Excited for my dad whom I believe will be the only one hunting our property during rifle.

Waiting for things to calm down before getting out with my bow again. Our 2 week rifle season ended last Sunday.

I will be out a few times during December... Still holding out hope!!
