Boys I am hell on the coyotes this year. Shot another one last night out of the same stand. This one was chasing a small buck. No more chasing for him!

Awesome man! Planning a few coyote hunts for later this year. Busy trying to get some deer right now. Keep popping those yotes and your deer population should do very well

Set 4 mock scrapes this Saturday... The movement should start to pick up soon.

It's still so warm though - 60's the rest of the week with 70 projected this weekend.

Got out after work tonight. Saw nothing while in the stand but squirrels. As I was putting things away in my truck I could hear a deer walking past in the brush. Driving out there were three small does that looked like they were laying in the road. They jumped up and decided to run ahead of me for about 100 yards before diving into the ditch. Then, about a half mile farther, there was another doe feeding on the side of the road. The deer are out there, just not under my stand.

Did something change with how we put images in our signature? I noticed my team image is now showing up as a link.

Saw a real nice shooter 8 driving tonight about 750. Bucks are getting itchy guys. Will be heading down to Ohio for the first hunts of the year on Friday!

You know it's getting close to the rut when you start having half sleepless nights thinking about what stands you're going to be hunting and what weather fronts are going to come through.

Rolled around until 2am last night and have to be up at 6... Will be out this evening. Going to freshen up my mock scrapes I started Saturday (more is better I believe). 60 degrees @ 4PM with a SSW wind at 15mph and rain forecasted tonight.

Was able to get out tonight but was skunked! Strong north winds made sitting in the stand an adventure for sure. Saw a blonde coyote right before dark, but was unable to get an arrow in him. Will be back at it Friday evening and Saturday evening. Good luck to everyone.

Well boys took a descent buck tonight. Ive only got one other buck in my life of huntin and i knew i had to get my buck numbers up so i figured if a descent buck came in and gave me a shot id take it. Because i know how my history goes when i pass up bucks i dont see any the whole year so i took this guy he came in gave me a 5 yard shot and i double lunged him. He may not score alot but for a guy whose tryin to get his buck numbers up this is a buck to take. Im pretty happy with him and now im gonna go after another doe and possible a tom next weekend so i hope i helped the team out!

And there is the difference of living in the north v the south. I'm jazzed because the overnight low tonight will be 40 and the high will only be 70. Lol :D
