    5 does came in about 30 min before sunset... The 8pt I missed is just messing with me now. He came out 15 minutes before sunset and would not come closer than 50 yards... Just ate in the rye I planted and walked off to the beans.

    Well the 8 I missed a few weeks back got another pass from me tonight... I see the trail cam pics and tell myself I'm going to shoot, but when he shows up I just end up watchin him.

    He was about 35 yards out tonight and I didn't feel comfortable taking the shot.

    Awesome night none the less. Watched him work his way through a bean field about 300yds out and come straight to the winter rye I planted.

    Anyone have plans to get out and hunt this weekend?

    I won't be out until Sunday... But I will be checking the cams and setting some mock scrapes on Saturday.

    In addition to working today, I now need to fix the dryer so that I can go hunting tomorrow... Looks like my lunch will be a tear down...hopefully just the element.
