Had a tight budget for a new sight and went with the trophy ridge 3 pin. No peep adjustment. Get the bow dialed in tomorrow and will be back on the stand!

Congrats and get back after that 10!

Well the 10 we named Peekaboo has shown back up this morning in Ohio, in daylight....with a few other bucks. I probably have 50 pics of this 10 over the last 2 weeks. He has officially moved in I think. Opening day is Saturday but I can't get down yet!





Some others of him from last week. My set us about 100 yds from here.

 

If I can get out of NYC tomorrow, I'll hopefully be out on Sat.

Alright guys... Have an issue. Got the new sight on last night and was hitting a 3" circle with ease. I get home tonight to sight in at 30yds... First arrow I punch the trigger and completely miss... Second arrow the same thing happens. Practice a bit more and get it somewhat tuned and it happens again.

I haven't missed the target at any distance since last summer. And tonight I miss it 3 times. It felt like my trigger on my release wasn't nearly as sensitive as it usually is... Was it nerves, or something else?

Were you consistent? (I.e. a sighting prob) If not, check that everything on the sight & mount is tight.

If you don't find anything, but things still aren't clicking, I do some 'blind baling' to focus on technique and consistency, then start backing up 10 yds shoot a group, back up 10 more yes shoot a group, etc to build back up that confidence and address my likely form/technique problem

MnHunterr, you didn't adjust anything but your sight?

 

Nothing... It felt as if it was my release. But I had 0 problems the night before at 20yds. I am going to try it again tonight - I'm thinking it was just in my head after it happened with my first arrow of the day.

 

Didn't you say something before about borrowing your dad's release? Maybe try that again just to rule out yours. If that makes a difference, I believe I'd be getting a new one of those

I'm a noob learning as I go!

 

Was just in Brown County today. About 1.5 hrs from me

 

I see begging for votes is ok maybe you guys could beg Fitz in giving you some extra points for this contest since your going to need it

 

I should hopefully be adding at least a doe saturday opening morning here I got a couple does coming in 3 times a day everyday so hopefully I can help the team get over our slump lol.

 

Nothin wrong with a little teammate help!!

Wish MN wasn't one deer only... Oh the does I could have in the freezer by now.
