Sounds good, fellas. Lots of rain in many parts of the country lately, so hoepfully all of the plots will be busting here in no time.

I will probably only venture out one more time between now and the season opener to check cams.

Put up some more cams this weekend. Checked food plots and they're doing pretty good. Here's some pics...

He thinks he can sneak past me! This buck is #3 on the list. I wont shoot him early, but he'd better not tempt fate!

    That's a nice buck for #3. Don't think I'd pass him up.

Will be hitting the woods this weekend one last time before the season starts.

    Saturday to do list:
    - Final stand prep
    - Swap 3 cards
    - Check winter rye plot/seed any holes
    - Final tune of the bow
    - Wash/Hang all clothes
    - Set mock scrape

9 more days! Will be hunting the food exclusively the first few hunts of the season.

I have a $50 Cabelas gift card burning a hole in my pocket... Probably going to stop tonight and look around.

Do you guys wear a head cover while in the stand? I've never owned one myself, have always just worn my realtree ball cap.

Going to look at the head/neck covers, mock scrape materials, and scent elimination sprays/washes for the season.

I wear full head/face mask. Have a light weight one for early season and heavier fleece one for cold temps

I usually wear a camo cap or beanie. Did buy a light weight face mask for this year.

rk - hope you have a great bear hunt.

I wear a cap, beanie or face mask (or combo) depending on weather, time of year and how I'm hunting (tree stand, ground sit, spot and stalk).

I think my face mask is a light scentlok ($20 clearance from ****s).

I had a 25 Midway card I just spent on a grunt call and rattle bag.

I'm waffling on a bag from Cabelas...As I have a bunch of Marriott points I can convert to a Cabelas card.
