No major plans for the weekend. Probably a good thing since the weather looks crappy.
I should be all set for opening day in 2 weeks, just waiting for the day.

Boys I'm on a big one! I'll try to post pics later. May wait until I pull cards from 5 cameras tomorrow. Glad I didn't shoot him last year.

    Let's see some pics Bronson!

That youth hunt is really cool r...let us know how y'all do.

MN - I hope you get your own 10 acres!! I dream of having some land. Wife won and we got the neighborhood/good school district for the kids.

I just closed on a new to me house on Wednesday so I will be moving all weekend. Between selling my current home, twin 6 month old gals and this new home, plus work, pretty busy these days. Keeps me out of my spots tho! :) (trying to be optimistic)

This guy has possible potential for our area. He was at my site for quite some time and posed in a lot of different ways for me to get a good look at him. Still not quite the size I'm looking for, but that decision may change in stand :D

Also have this smaller one showing up on the other side of the property.

In MI - which I think is similar to PA - I may have to shoot that buck. Good luck and nice pics

Yeah, they're both on the smaller side, but I know what is realistic for the area in terms of expectations. At least they're starting to show back up :)

Ill be honest... If I have a small 6 or 8 pt come by me I'm taking the shot. I haven't got a buck with my bow yet. I passed up several 4 and 6 pts last year and kind of regret it. I just want to get a buck with my bow.

Minnesota is a 1 deer limit this year so I think I'll wait it out... But who knows what will happen on the stand.

I guess while we're discussing size of deer and what we would and wouldn't shoot, I want to make sure everyone on the team knows I could care less if you shoot a spike or a 190" buck. I'm happy for you no matter what. Don't let the contest dictate what you do or don't shoot. It's all for fun!

Yup. But if a 190 walks out don't fall out of the stand, keep your cool and make a good shot.

Checked my cam today at one of my new spots. Its been up for maybe couple weeks now, was only getting doe everyday but now starting to get some smaller bucks coming. A descent 5 we called high5 and a 4 and some spikes. So hoping now that there moving by my stand that soon some nice ones will start showing up! So overall good check today can't wait to sit in the stand!

I prayed for rain after throwing out my rye... We've gotten 3-4 inches since. Praying for lots of sun.

Well got the move done with..hope it rains this week so I can check the cams.

Will be making one more trip to Ohio to hang stands, check cams, and walk new ground before season opener.
