I'll be squirrel hunting and a cookout. Really trying to stay out of the woods now that I got everything ready so the deer are ready for opening day!

15 stands.... Wow. How much land you guys hunt if you don't mind me asking?

I took paid time off tomorrow and have an interview at 9am. Thinking of checking my one good cam a last time so I can stay out until season starts in the afternoon.

Looking at a house across the street with the girlfriend we are looking at buying Saturday morning. Starter house with 10 acres.

Heading to leech lake Saturday afternoon - Monday. Going to be a very busy weekend!!

1200 acres of public in one spot. 650 public in another. And my buddy has 200 private that we're hanging the 15 stands on. Cant put stands on public for another 3 weeks yet. We do 3 youth hunts every year on his land with a Christian youth organization around here. Usually have between 6 and 10 kids hunting. Its a good time.

Good luck on the house. Nothin like owning your own place :)

What are you planting this late? I try to have mine in the ground by middle of August. This year we got em done July 19th. Gonna check em Saturday when we're hanging stands

Laundering the hunting clothes/spraying them with permethrin, getting stuff ready as the season opens 2 weeks from Sat. Oh, and a cookout and possibly some fishing.

Secret Spot from WTI. The bag says you can plant it until 9/15 in my area.

I took the time a couple weeks ago to get my hunting clothes laundered. I'm hoping I'll be able to get out for Indiana's UDZ opener on 9/15.

I need to get my clothes washed and sprayed (Permethrin). Checked my plot again yesterday. Spot sprayed a few broadleafs, but we should be good to go. Bow is dialed, just need to get a few odds and ends around and I'll be ready. Still have to wait over a month, though.

I should probably get going on getting everything ready for opener as well. Still need to wash/spray everything as well.

We have had 2 days of steady rain since I planted the rye... Just need the sun now!!
