    You also know about Hermilda the cow? Harvard and Marengo (my hometown) were/are bitter rivals in sports. I was with my neighbor one evening when I was a freshman with his friends and they went and spray painted the cow maroon (school color). I never left the car as I was freaking out that my ol' man was going to kick the living sh*t out of me if I got caught! Harvard followed that up by burning a huge "H" in our football field stretching the sidelines the evening before homecoming. Immature graffitti that did NOT lead to school shootings like we have today.

    Grayslake and we beat Marango in football back in 1983 6-0. lol I live just over the border from Antioch, IL in Wisconsin now. I tell people I did the right thing by moving here. Go Packers!! Painting that cow was war on if I remember correctly.
