Well hell Tom, when you kill one and need help dragging him out, give me a ring and I will come help! I live a stones throw away from the NE corner of Fort Riley. You could probably even stay in my new shed I built for all my hunting stuff if you didn't already have a place to stay. It will have air conditioning by then :tu: lol

Thanks Cole I appreciate that. There will be 6 of us on the hunt and we got a really good deal on a cabin for the week. I think we will have to meet up for a beverage and hopefully look at some BIG bucks hanging.

lol, well 6 people would kind of change things, the shed is only 16' x 30'.

Speaking of giving a ring, anybody want to exchange cell #'s to give updates on hunts and whatnot?

Switched to broadheads tonight for practice. Bow must be fairly tuned as it shot PERFECTLY with my fieldtips. Last year my bow was off by around 4-5" at 20 yards 'til I adjusted for the BHs. Shot out to 40 yards hitting the vitals on the small animals on my Block Fusion target....only 19 more days.

I only have 50 text messages/mo currently so I will post my cell number once I get that quantity bumped up. I think the next billing cycle begins on the 22nd. I was going to do it for hunting season anyways!

Don't tell your wife that it is my fault you need more messages;) Glad to hear the arrows are flying well. I have both my bows shooting the same arrows with the same results, I am good to go once I move a stand and get lanes trimmed.

I manage to get 1 set of ladder sticks up yesterday near a swamp I will be hunting.
This spot is driving me nuts as it is a small strip of woods with trees that suck to put
these sticks in. I may just switch it up again today when I head to the same property to put
some up on another spot. I have 1 really nice buck bedded up in this small swamp and
where I have my sticks is a nice funnel to which he pretty much has no choice but to come through.

I like the idea of letting each other know how things are going during our hunts.
My cell # is 763 269 1962 and my email is [email protected].

Heck no! She was TOLD to bump up the messages in September to ensure that I have enough messages to converse with my buddies....OK the truth, so I could let her know when and where I am at all times when I am hunting 'cause I often leave work early to hit the woods on weekdays. We all know who the boss is in the house, don't we?

Yes sir! I actually killed my buck out of it. I don't think I would have killed him if I was in the stand I already had hung, so you get some credit for that deer :tu:

He scored 150" exactly as a 9 point with an extra point that was just barely an inch.

I sure hope so! I am feeling pretty good about this season. I killed that buck on 640 acre piece of land that I just got permission on last year right before season, so I didn't really have much time to scout it. Now that I have shed hunted it and scouted all summer, things are really starting to come together. Last year, the biggest buck I got on camera there was probably a 125" deer. Now I am getting those 3 big ones, each over 150". I have a stand hung in a really good funnel, the whole draw squeezes down to about 70 yards wide, between bedding and food.

I'm here.. Don't have any classes on Fridays so I should have more time than ever to get it done. Only got a couple shooters on cam so far but they'll start showing up more once they change their patterns I think.
