Well checking in 8 straight days i the stand in Missouri public land and did not see a single deer while in the stand. I am going to hunt this weekend finally after the Nebraska rifle season in what I hope is the honey hole. Going to put up another stand in a hot traffic area...hope I finally see some deer... I plan on moving to Nebraska soon and I'm not sure where to hunt. I've been looking online and doing research but what else can help me find a good place to hunt?
Well after a long week at work I'm finally on my week off and heading back out to the tree stand with the orange army out but I'll be out with my bow instead of a gun! This sums up how my season is going so far this year! If it would have been clear this morning he's a dead deer but since it was cloudy it didn't light enough to shoot tell 20 minutes after its usually light enough to shoot! On a plus note I have a new buck showing up the last few weeks he just needs to make a mistake! Buck that should have been shot this am but not enough light to shoot!
