    Atta boy, Bear!! Congrats!

Finally got mine scored and entered for us, guys. Now with Bear on the board as well, we will be in good shape.

The rain stopped late last night so I decided with more rain forecasted for Thursday that this morning would be a good time to be in the stand. I stepped into my favorite lock on about 5:30 and got settled in. This stand sits along a ridge that's behind a cut bean field.
About ten minutes before daylight I had 2 doe come in under me and stay for about 5 min. Just as they left and it began to get to where I could see, I went ahead and stood up. I knew that with everything being wet that I may not have much of heads up that a deer was close. I was standing for about ten minutes when I hear the ol crunch crunch crunch. I looked down to see a tall rack 8 point at 5 yards and walking away. I quickly turned and grabbed my bow and spun back around, at this point he has made it to about 20 yards and still at a steady walk. I drew my bow and quickly gave him a mouth bleet to get him to stop. I settled the pin and let it fly!
The arrow hit its mark and I watched my lighted nock take off with the buck. He ran about 40 yards and took a dive. I could see my nock sitting there glowing. I pulled out the binos to see he was laying with the arrow still in him. The rage hypodermic did its job taking out at least one lung and the heart.

Good luck today. I'll be washing all my clothes and gear. Seems every time I shoot something my scent control regiment goes out the window and it all needs done again. I'll be out Friday afternoon and Saturday morning on doe patrol.

What app is that? Fitz did an updated score card but your deer still has not been counted.

Setup and strapped in!!! Perfect wind for this stand but it's blowing like a sob!!! Haven't been seeing any mature bucks on cam lately but I did noticed a few scrapes that just got worked over this morning! I'm out here to shoot a doe or a buck just as long as I get to finally let an arrow fly this year!!![IMG][IMG]

Well I got my buck scored and entered for the contest. It ended up right at 120. Good luck to those still looking for a buck. I've got three does to shoot now.
