Wow! 6 days without power! Safe travels, Chago.

I'm in NE OK. Gonna hunt tomorrow and sat. There were lots of deer moving this evening on the drive up.

    Man Drago that is wild.

I think my brother and I are going to try to hea south one last time. At this point if it's brown it's down. I've been in stand a few time but we're not on a good food source so we haven't seen anything. At least when we go south there are no ag fields to pull the deer to them and away from us.

Sat all day yesterday, probably should have called it quits late morning. Pack of dogs chasin multiple deer through late morning and they patrolled by several times till dark. Not happy about it. It was frustrating. Headed out this morning and will sit till noon...

Sounds like it's time to dog hunt buddy.

I'm leaving in about 20 minutes to hit the cabin. If it's brown it's down at this point. Except for a little buck. Those little guys need to grow and get big!

I pulled all my SD cards today and had a lot of my old resident bucks back and still alive...of course our late #*(&ing muzzle loader season is still open....for pete freaking sake...I wish they hadn't opened that damn season up so late, enough deer season already with firearms!

The giant tall and heavy ten point is back on camera on my property right next to the neighbor that shot OMG and they are hunting this evening. gah...

The trip south to the cabin was a wash, literally. I saw a few deer on an opposite hillside (not our property) but they never came close. The next morning it was pouring down rain. I went and set up in the "shack" (a little shed overlooking a river valley). It's pretty much a gun blind but the deer come in behind it commonly and I could shoot backward through the door.

    Either way, saw nothing.

My brother did get us permission to hunt some land about a quarter mile from the house. The guys who hunt it are done for the season and they don't care if we take a doe or maybe a buck if a big one comes. That's probably the best chance I have. We're done next Sunday.

I'll be hunting this cold front tomorrow. It's suppose to blow into NE OK sat afternoon and dump some snow sat night. Sunday is suppose to be frigid - in the teens. We'll see what happens...

Thanks. You should go sit tomorrow just to test your heater suit.

Yeah I should, I just got the proper battery for it today.
I had this guy back on camera last week! The date is wrong on the pic, the pic was taken on the 28th of Dec.

Man that 11 is a stud! Beauty of a deer!

I hooked my battery up and placed it in my new backpack, perfect fit! I put the suit on and hooked everything up and went and sit outside for thirty minutes from 7:20-7:50 and man that thing is awesome! I had it on low and it was like sitting out on an 80F sunny day! I may have trouble staying awake may be the only trouble with it! Of course it's only 34F here right now, lol.

I'm going out in the morning, I can't wait to get this thing out in some seriously cold air and try it out! Sunday should do it, high in the teens and monday a high in the single digits...for MO and KS that is freakish cold and uncommon.

I saw 11 this morning and 8 this evening on two different farms. None were close enough to get a shot at though....

So they were movin just not near me. I have no food on my place and late season is tough. Early season, mast drop and rut are all good there but late is usually not productive.

I have a great place for a food plot but it is right by the road and I don't want to encourage poaching.

Lol, I'd like to, I got up early enough to go but it's snowing so hard here it's nearly a white-out, miserable flipping weather. I hate winter....
