There's no doubt why so many don't believe you. I've been PM'ing people around the forum all night about you and they simply said don't worry about it, he's a harmless loudmouth. Just ignore him and he'll get bored and go back to playing with himself or Monster Raxx.

Now I'm beginning to get the idea where the name "Monster Raxx" came from...ewe.

Ok guys, let's keep this friendly. Trash talking is all fun and games but let's not take it personal. This is all for fun and games, nothing on the line here.
If you come into another team's thread to stir the pot, don't get all offended when they call you a name.

Anyways, I think the opening weekend of firearm season here in IN had extremely low numbers. I didn't hear a single shot all week and only saw a few deer killed (based on my FB).

I'll be off all next week so I'll be hitting the stand hard. Probably going to focus on the bucks at my place. Unfortunately, it may be all or nothing. We're not going to take any does off that land to try and let the population build up a bit. So far it looks like that part is going well.

Thanks Indy, I think it all calmed down (more or less) last evening and ended with them agreeing to delete/edit their posts.

The deer seem to have shut down here, haven't heard any shots this morning either. I haven't been in a stand in about a week due to field work but I haven't been seeing any deer along the roads like I was.

Well they already moved the rains for the week up to wed-Friday but it is still suppose to be cooler. That's good anyway.

I saw no deer yesterday. I did shoot at a yote at 40 yards. I thought I hit him good as he yelped and ran 50 yards into the woods yelping & thrashing for 3 minutes. Then he got up and hobbled off holding his front leg up. Leg shot! Bah! Arrow at impact site was bloodless and broadhead was broken off and could not find it. Good blood trail to where he stopped to luck his wounds then nothing...

Ya the wind you guys had is here now. Yesterday and today are brutal. I imagine tomorrow when it lets up it will be a good day.

Don't worry about the yote. Most guys on here get all sensitive about losing game. I feel that way about big game. Coyotes I don't care at all lol every time I shoot one while bow hunting I rarely even look for them. They are tough bastards and em when you hit them good they run far.

Come winter though I go out and blast them with the 223. Then they don't go far.

You know I used to worry about animals suffering but a damn yote doesn't give a rats butt about a fawn or an adult deer suffering as they rip it apart alive. A coon doesn't worry about suffering while they are eating the head off a game bird alive...I don't worry too much about predators suffering anymore at this point. I despise the damn things. I don't go out to intentionally make them suffer but I'm not going to lose sleep over it either.

I'm mainly discouraged at no recovery because he had a beautiful red coat. I thought it was a red fox at first! His buddy that was with him was mangy and typical grey/brown color... And I wanted the hero shot too! ;)
