Yeah this weather is poor but I'm thinking the moon is having a big effect as well. I haven't looked at any moon phase info but it looks full to me so for all intents and purposes it's a full moon, lol. I was working around grain bins late last night and had to climb to the top to shut a lid and it was like a freaking blue LED was shining in my face, lol. I could see a good 1/4 mile from the top of that bin at 9:45.
Oh and there were fresh buck tracks all around it this morning I'm guessing he was munching on spilled beans and milo and wheat, lol. They are really enjoying the fresh tender wheat here now...I mean really really enjoying it.

I just put two full pounds of deer jerky in to soak in jerky sauce a minute ago....just thought you all might like that bwahaha!

Hey guys, here are those pics I was telling you about. They look like different buck to me, close but the length of the brow tines is much different.

Yeah I think they are different deer also. Very nice! You need to lay the swack down on one of those studs!
    And a doe!

Good luck boys. I already left my stand. My tree was just about bending in half. Too windy.

Gusty winds have layed here... I suspect they'll be moving today after being in bed during the howling wind yesterday.

Yep, bet they will be out mid day if this wind settles.
Well another buck very similar to mine was submitted, every aspect looks extremely similar to mine and I feel somewhat vindicated with my score. A couple of trouble makers have been going around the forum questioning some of the scores FB and MR and making fun of people's scores without any justification for doing so other than being @$$wipes and jealous. This deer is a few inches short of mine but the differences are obvious from the pics, mine had more mass and longer brows. To their credit these two members didn't mention names or specific deer, except for Chago's...one of them asked him to measure his deer (insinuation)...after the dea lwith another deer and back and forth I couldn't help feeling a finger pointing as me personally and my deer but maybe not either (yeah right). ANyway, no matter what deer they were pointing to I haven't seen anything very questionable in the score thread posts.

I know opinions aren't a big deal but I still feel better with another very similar deer posted. The downside is another team nailed a good buck, lol.

Well guys the good news is that it looks like the storms will go just north of us. Much relieved since they're full of tornadoes. It doesn't look like much so we're not fully in the clear yet. It's closer than what I was expecting but looking alright as of now!

Weather and moon made it tough this weekend. Saw two tiny bucks ( spike and 3pt ) and a bunch of does. Placed some cameras on new scrapes to see what's happnin. Unfortunately once gun season comes in MI...deer hunting blows.

Don't worry about the haters. Getting you upset and seeing you post about it in here is giving him what he wants! F him.

I have made a couple of comments that guys have posted scores that appear to be high, maybe it was a mistake, maybe the picture does not do the buck justice or maybe they padded their score. I did not call anyone a @$$wipe or any other "clever" way to call them a swear word. You can keep calling me swear words I have no problem with that but don't think for a minute people don't notice what your doing. Good luck the rest of the season, there are a bunch of great guys on this team and I hope you guys keep knocking them down.

Well there's nothing further that can be done about scores, they seem to be scrutinized about as fully as reasonably possible....why don't you grow up and stop throwing jabs of insinuation and inuendo about the forum. You just admitted that you can't tell 100% that you're correct on estimating a score from peoples pics. DO you realize how pissy that looks to basically call someone a liar and a cheat when you could very well (and probably are) wrong? Just stop doing it and we'll stop having these conversations. Try letting something that's approved by admin go and keep your negative assuptions to yourself for a change...

I do think it is funny that you have called someone out for cheating and continued using clever ways to call members swear words but I am the one that needs to grow up. I think the word we are looking for is hypocrite. I won't waste my time in here any more, you and Chago aren't worth it. To the other members of the team if I offended you I am sorry.

Went out this afternoon and had a Buck chase a doe right under the stand but I was out of light. I had already lowered the bow down and I pulled it back up when I heard em coming my way but there just wasn't enough light. They stopped 10 yards in front and stayed there for about 5 minutes before she took off and he was right behind her. I strained my eyes as hard as I could but I couldn't see well enough to tell how big he was. Wish I could get back out there in the morning since there's a hot doe in there but unfortunately I wont be able to. Maybe I can take off early and get back out there tomorrow evening.
