I've kinda lost track here. Jvanhees, Covey and Indy got bucks this past weekend? That's awesome guy's congratulations! What a team!

 

No, Indy didn't score unless he spotlighted one between the time I went to bed and now, lol.

 

Well no Bob, I haven't gotten anything, thanks for making me feel better about my morning! lol.

Brent, I did catch some eyes in my headlights this morning when scanning a field, but I'm not sure that counts.

I did refigure my vacation days and it's looking like I'm going to gain 3 days. Unforunately, I also have to travel to Brazil at some point before the end of the year so that will take a weekend or two off my time. Oh, I do get a Christmas shutdown so that will give me 2 weeks of no work. Hopefully my deer are on the ground and I'm standing in frozen water with a shotgun at that point.

With the updated score on Brent's buck (which I too believe to be accurate and I wouldn't worry about having to retake measurements) we are at 648.5 points (minus Steve's buck which is 140ish). We just need them all posted.

Yeah, the "unofficial top 10" thread has the highest score in the upper 500s... if we had everything posted we would be #1 by about 100 points.

Man I hope those guys show up and get them posted. It's going to suck if we lose and have 200 points sitting unchecked.

 

Im sure they will show back up. ppl get busy.

 

No matter how this ends up...I'm just relieved that I was lucky enough to connect on both my deer so that now I don't look like just a braggert back on pages 1-5, lol. After being out of archery for so long I didn't know how much trouble I'd actually have putting deer on the ground with a bow and I was a little nervous about it.

It's nice to be able to sit back with no pressure and cheer you guys on! We have a ton of time left in this thing and a very very legitimate chance at winning it....which would be awesome! I'm very proud to have been placed on this team!

Lets knock last years champs out of this thing!!!!!!!

 

I've always thought about only turning in a doe or 2 then everyone turning in a buck / doe on the last day.

Man, good morning, sitting here eating fried deer steak, playing on the internet with buddies dropping deer and Jason Aldean blaring on the PC...only Saturday morning was marginally better, lol.

 

Ha, must be nice. I'm sitting here at drinking a water and some special K breakfast sandwich.

Also, I did finalize my Brazil trip. It will be the first week of December. Good news is that it should not be over a weekend, therefore, it should not interfere with hunting at all.

Shotgun opener is this weekend. My plan is to hunt public ground.

 

Man you've got some talkers on your team. I had to scroll 5 pages back to see your response. Not bowhunting MI anymore. Just the annual deer camp with the fam. Looks like that state is producing nicely this year though. My brother shot a great 10 pt a few weeks ago and all my cousins have scored too. I'll be over in kzoo this weekend to route for the lesser of the terrible football teams,(even if we have a worse record). Drinking the beverage of my choice of course!
