Bah! And I had to settle for 129 3/8! Best and worst thing for me now is that I'll never intentionally kill another buck below 130"!

Hey now, lets be fair to the animal at least....I said 130+...leaving room for whatever it actually scores.

Honestly man I truly don't care. I only brought it up because covey was being criticized by the entire site for a total error on SOMEONE ELSE'S deer. He just copy and pasted. I'm all for competitive spirit, I love it. But if someone cheats in a contest like this one I genuinely feel bad for them. There lives must be pathetic. Now I'm not accusing you or anyone as I obviously can't prove it. But honestly ill never genuinely believe that deer was killed on the date posted. Call me stubborn whatever you want. I have seen deer hit by cars in dead of summer when it's 2 million degrees outside and have seen deer two weeks later that don't look like that. Yes the deer would be eaten by animals I don't doubt that. But the blackened bones and fur, no way!!!! Those antlers look like they had velvet, I dunno how South Carolina is but in Ontario velvet is long gone by then.

That's just my two cents. And I agree 90" isn't going to be the winner for the contest. But if you allow this where do you draw the line? What if I found a 160" buck tomorrow??? Then what would people say? You made comment that your team was texting each other? Was there any posts on the forum the day he shot it?? I was in exact sake situation yesterday and couldn't find a doe I shot. I came on now to report I went out again today and did not make much progress. I will look again tomorrow. I have an idea of a area I did not look. But mine is completely documented on here. This one just appeared, unless you have posts maybe I missed.

Again I really don't care if I lose or win this competition due to people not playing fair. I sure enjoy taking part in the contest but I won't lose any sleep over it. IMO though fitz made a bad call on this deer. He's the boss though and I won't argue. But I think if he takes a closer look he will see the same things, the antlers are the selling part for me. I agree with covey I think no matter the size it should be scored 50 and that's it. At the end of the day our jobs as hunters is to harvest a animal cleanly and not waste. Unfortunately for the hunter if he did shoot this deer he did not complete his duty as a hunter and shouldn't be awarded for it. He failed his job as a hunter. And that is exactly how I feel about myself and yesterday's doe. It's been below freezing here, if I find it tomorrow there is two outcomes. Quarters will be fine, or Yotes found it before me. Either way I feel like I failed myself, that animal and my hobby. Again my fear is someone posts a monster skull found and sing the same tune your team is. If its true or not. It's a failed hunt. Just my two cents.

Anyways off all that crap. Boys I went out this evening and couldn't find anything. This property is so darn loaded with deer the beagles kept catching other deers scent trails and kept leaving our blood trail. So I just went for a stomp around. But after I left had a epiphany where I think she very well may be. So tomorrow I am going to skip work and go. I don't care if its written or not I need to find this deer and tag it. In 8 years of hunting I've only ever lost one animal. A trophy black bear who jumped into a swamp and I could never recover. I swore I would never not tag a animal ever again. This property has no water for me to lose her. She's their and dead no doubt in my mind. Just found a hell of a spot to hide. It's so thick and thorny. I'm leaving a blood trail of my own walking through this crap. I'm going to hunt tomorrow as well. So maybe ill find her and smack a buck.

Good luck to everyone it's November.

I think your neighbor knows where she is....probably in his shed.

I didn't hunt this morning, wind was blowing about 25mph but went out tonight and saw deer everywhere. I saw the buck I named gnurley whose main beans bend downwards but I wasn't about to shoot a three year old deer.

I'm going to have to switch up stands again been in this one too many times.

Wow! I'm out of pocket for a few days and everything goes crazy! I didn't go back and read all the posts but it seems like we've crept up the board and in the meantime had a few disagreements with some other teams along the way. Have all our deer been officially scored? Is where we are on the scorecard correct and up to date? Ive been waiting to shoot a doe till late season. I don't have a large population so I don't want to remove the one that may drag that monster by my stand.

I spent this weekend with my 8 yr old on a youth rifle hunt here in NE oklahoma on one of the area WMA's. Unfortunately we didnt have any luck. I will be out next weekend with the bow. With daylight savings time I wont get to go any after work now so it'll have to be weekends and vacation days only. I always take off for about 12 days around Thanksgiving so ill have a lot of stand time coming up soon. Anyway, congratulations to all of you that have been successful and good luck to those who have yet to score.

No, they have yet to count my doe as I missed posting the time taken....I fixed it but they'll have to get it next time around I guess...
Cunningham has yet to submit his doe I think and obviously buckhunter1988's buck didn't count yet, emailed him today and he said he'd have the official score Thursday when he gets back home from work.

IF, we ever get credited every score we have submitted then we'll be moving up a long ways all at once.

Our score does not reflect CM's doe - he had some missing info that came in after the weekend tally - time of kill maybe? It is also missing buckhunter's potentially mis-scored buck.

Tell me about the daylight savings crap. I hate this, it's like instant depressed when they change the clock lol I own my own business an make my own hours. But I still need to get crap done before I skip out and hunt. And when last light is 5pm I need to leave at like lunch lol we should petition to the government. I'm sure they would understand hahaha

Trust me all I need is to find the bed of blood. I find that at this pojnt I would be happier. Because at least I know animal was dead and harvested. The thief on the other hand I will deal with. But in my head the guilt trip will be over.

Well now the team 33 guy is accusing me of intentionally trying to cheat by posting BH's bucks score that was incomplete....this deal isn't going to end well.

Probably not but no way was I about to let those remarks go unchallenged....Got a PM from one person on their team who seems like a good guy and I think it'll blow over now....we'll see.

I'd just suggest at this point that we focus on our team let them worry about them. Its all supposed to be for fun and its retarded for grown men (I'm assuming) to argue over this kind of crap. Who really gives a damn? Not me. Let's move on.

The point I'm trying to make is that you can't win the argument. I'm on your side... I'm just saying you can't overcome ignorance..so why continue to try.

I came into the forum this evening perfectly fine with letting it go and letting things cool off until I saw the post in the score thread accusing me of intentionally cheating....I wasn't going to let that go. One of their team PM'ed me and we agreed to try to let matters cool off and try to let the contest go on in good spirits...so no matter what else happened....that's where we are now.

Ya you got the target over nothing. I hope fitz finally just deletes all that **** off the contest thread. So this all ends. If they wanna cry let them come here to cry.

Good thing I'm hunting tomorrow. All this is giving me stress hahaha

Haha, I know right...I never even said anything outside our team thread about the dead deer..everyone else did right along with also throwing crap about buckhunters score....
I had actually just refused to post any comments in the score thread until this evening after being called about everything in the book...or accused of it.

Jeeze...what a mess...I just want it to be over, lol.

It is now I think. Fitz finally layed the law, very subtlety lol.

I'm watching a real good football game right now. But I must say all the crying by wisbh is far more entertaining.
