Work has kept me out of the woods this week. Heading out now to a new stand set I put up three weeks ago, I want to see what is moving out of the northern swamp area in the evenings. Good luck to those hunting, will report back this evening or tomm. morning on how the stand works out.

Tuesday is opening day here, but due to my work schedule I can't get out until Thursday.
Hope to be on the board by the end of the day.

Opening day for us was Saturday and I was only in the stand for an hour before this doe came in with a group of six. My shot was a little higher than I liked but the NAP Killzones done their job and she only ran 50 yards if that. Now that I've got meat in the freezer it's time to hunt for one of my target bucks! Hope everyone else is having a great season!

Nice job gents. I guess the old man better step up his game and find some more time to be in the woods.

Looking good team. Congrats on those with a deer down. I've only been able to get out once so far but I saw lots of activity. Now it's just being in the right place at the right time. Keep it up. Let's win this thing!

Well i been shooting my G5 Montecs and just couldnt get them to fly right. I go back to work tomorrow and my next day off is Monday which is in deer season. So i did what i been saying i never will...i bought expandables. My bow set up is more then capable for them, i just dont like the idea. And i am very willing to admit it was more lazyness then anything that pushed me towards them. Will test how they fly later today and hopefully will have no issues and be ready to put deer down come monday morning!!

Same reason I dropped my Muzzy 3 blades, and went with Rage 2 blade. I was practicing once and the arrow with the Muzzy on it got a mind of its own and took off in another direction in mid flight. I've been happy with the mechanicals and haven't had any issues.
