Motivational speech for the weekend: for those of us able to get a sit this weekend, let's lay down the crimson carpet! Team 17 will not be beat! Let's get out there and put some more points on the board! I'm done now.

Just had a fawn walk out but no momma. It BARELY had spots. It was tempting just to shoot just to get some fresh meat!

I went out last night after work, sat til dark, it was POURING down rain. I did have one deer come out but it was starting to get dark and i couldn't tell if it was nubs or just it's ears.
This morning I saw a good number of does, 4-5 came out but they were well away and through the woods. A fawn came out for me too and it also was borderline spots.

On a good note, I did stick a cam up on that opening 2 weeks ago. There is a monster of a buck on it. Shows up twice a day, just outside of shooting hours.

went out again this morning. Ended up moving my stand to where I keep seeing the deer. Try again next weekend.I was set up on a ridge where I had seen plenty last year, however, this year they seem to be running the other side of the same ridge. Time will tell.

Well the deer have changed their routes since this summer. I'm moving my stand tomorrow and hopefully putting a doe down for the team!

Hi team! Got a doe saturday evening. Fairly short hunt. maybe an hour tops after setting up, she come in & fed around at about 25 yds without offering a shot, then she bee-lined right in and I shot her at 6 yds. she went about 80-90 before piling up, I'll try and get the pics loaded this evening.

Well I had no luck opening weekend either. Saw plenty of deer but nothing I wanted to take.

Congrats on the doe rybo!! I hunted all weekend as well and saw a total of 6 does and a spike. I couldn't get a shot on either of the does.

OK guys, kind of bad news, I think i lost my camera. I cannot find it anywhere. I have a very, very bad feeling I left it on the bumper of my truck and drove off. I checked my whole yard & driveway and every place in my house it could be. I'll keep looking.

Good work putting down browns gents!
The kids are spending the night at my cousin's Friday night, so I'll be able to hunt after work and get into stand well early Saturday. There's a cabin on that parcel of land. I hope that big shooter buck wanders in a little late to bed down

The pics were already taken with the camera. The deer was cut up before I realized I couldn't find my camera. Hopefully it turns up, I looked everywhere last night. It's driving me nuts.

Fitz wants to remind us all that we need to make sure to put the date and time of when we kill the deer when we upload the pictures to the official score card. They will not count without the date and time. Thanks!

Went this morning and all I saw was a coon tryin to climb up the tree I was in. I spit some Grizzly on him so it wasn't a complete loss.

Keep it up guys. I went out Saturday morning but saw nothing.
I am still trying to be conservative with how much I'm in stand. Stupid other responsibilities.

Here in a few weeks I'll hit it real hard though. There were some visitors (welcome) in my stand over the weekend on another property but they saw nothing. Good deal for me!
