Rybo, that sucks man. I'm hoping the guys at the spot where the big guys are, are much less ambitious than they say they are going to be. Seeing how they have yet to hang any stands. good thing I have my muddy. MN, good luck tomorrow buddy.
Well, seasoned opened this weekend with no opportunity to hit the woods. Family time on Sat. and work on Sun. Blast it all. I do have a week of vacation starting on Thursday this week so I will be in stand on Thursday morning.
I have 2 dry does by my property that need to be taken care of, but hopefully that is just 50 bonus points from the big 8 I passed last year. One on thursday would make me happy, both would be awesome!
Good luck beaver. I'm hoper I can head down to the ranch the 28th so I can get a doe on opening morning here. Hopefully I don't have to go back to work before then.
I sent MathewsSC14 (our last team alternate) a message asking him to check in, so hopefully we will finally have a full team.
I am going tomorrow after work to check cams one last time before season starts. Probably make sure all the lanes are clear. I won't get the primo spot as the guy who owns the land will take that, but I doubt he is around much. There are 2 other guys but they too apparently aren't much interested. I think they have a large property they've been managing elsewhere.
Hey guys, I got a message from Fitz saying I've been assigned to you guys. This is me officially checking in, assuming this is in-fact how I am supposed to "check in." My bowseason starts Oct 1st and I hail from Northeast Louisiana. Looking forward to joining you guys this year.
Couple things. 1, has everyone checked in that has to? 2, anyone's season started yet? Unless I missed it, I've only seen Oct 1st mentioned in this thread.
Season is open here in WI. Sat for about 3.5 hours today and didn't see a thing. My dad was sitting on the bench right next to the cabin and saw 2 does walk about 10 yards from him. He wasn't hunting...
Mine started September 1st here in Kentucky. I just haven't had much time to get out in the woods yet.
9 hour sit today. Saw a coyote at 8 walk across the path and at 830 he walked back. Never stopped long enough to put a pin on him. Wish I had the .22. Here are some pics (not of the coyote) and don't knock the face mask. It was hot. For those of you paying attention, you can see at least 3 "roads" within shooting distance.
