Ya'll don't talk much. So what happens if half of our team doesn't check in or turn in a deer they killed? Just tough luck?
We just held a secret team meeting in a location I cannot disclose. It was the teams finding that at this point, you can not be trusted with a mere post count of 5. There are numerous ways to gain the team's trust but it is exhausting and many have failed. So exhausting...I don't feel like going into details right now.
But seriously, it sometimes takes a while for everyone to check in. The boards will be seeing more and more activity everyday now with seasons approaching. We can also PM the guys that haven't checked in yet just to give them a heads up. I doubt many people will forget to enter their bucks into the contest. The bigger concern is not abiding by the two picture rule. Just make sure to take two pictures of the buck/doe that you kill so it CAN be entered. You have some nice looking bucks coming in. Good luck!
What a dreamer. :D If that were the case your team might have a chance of actually repeating this year. Unfortunately.....
I didn't say you guys were gonna lose, I just answered the gentleman's question .... "So what happens if half of our team doesn't check in or turn in a deer they killed?"
Welcome to the forums and to Team 14! Man, I'm jealous of some of the areas you guys live in and get to hunt. When someone talks about big buck states you never hear Tennessee and Arkansas mentioned. Actually, I don't talk much at all in real life and normally I post even less on here. In the case of folks not checking in, they normally fill vacant spots with alternates where possible. If it's not there already there will be an alternates sign up thread appearing soon. Now if someone on our team doesn't post a deer they kill for the team score, I say we track them down and .
My name is Jud, forgot to mention that. I've been to arkansas a few times with my brother, haven't hunted it but the Ft. Smith area looks good. I had expected arkansas to be flat corn fields, so it was a surprise to me. We go to tennessee several times a year. Hey I say we go to cades cove, where those deer are all really calm and used to humans, walk up to the biggest buck we can find bedded down, and just takes some pictures with it.
One of the areas I hunt in Arkansas has some significant terrain. One is pretty much flat. My best hopes for a decent buck this year, though, is here at home in Tennessee. I've never been to Cades Cove. Isn't that a state park or something like that?
Yes I am. I have actually ran into a small problem. The bow is pressed and I'm attempting to replace the last cam but the axle hole on one side of the limb is not lining up with the axle hole on the other side (split limb). The axle can't slide all the way through. I'm kinda at a loss.
