well boys that's it for me, my season has come to a close. Deer-25 Hank-0. Not a dang thing seen late season. I'm looking into a late Jan season, but I think that the time runs out for the contest like mid Jan.? Yup this year was pathetic. Loads of deer on the camera, but didn't see anything while in the tree. Sorry didn't even whack a doe, but never even drew back. Gonna have to do some refiguring about the land I'm huntin on. good luck to anyone else still huntin.
Sorry guys. I've been trying hard, but ended up shooting this little guy. I really thought that since it was walking with a group of 7 does/fawns that it was a doe. I didn't even bother to glass it even though it was a low-light situation. Totally my fault. I can't complain as I've had a phenomenal year, but it's a bit of a letdown. Especially since it means I lose a bet to PT.
