Well I only hunted Saturday morn,,,had a Doe around me for an hour feeding on browse. I had to help my brother the rest of the weekend taking down a state of the art paint booth, he is going to re open his body shop up again. The weather sucked any how and the full moon blows
Yeah me to,,thanks! was cool filming him as well from behind. One freaking sapling kept me from losing an arrow. Thats twice I have had him in shooting range, the other time was 15 yards and to dark to see pins or film! Its about time I start thinking of hunting between the food and beds as soon as it gets coooold again,,,closer to the beds of cource, there way back in the timber right now!
Glad to hear you are all still out hunting. Wish I could say the same for me the last few weeks but the lack of deer sightings at my place and for as much as I put in I hit a wall and lost lots of motivation to get back out. I know I need to and my new empty deep freeze is driving me crazy. I have a busy weekend plan but hoping to be back at it most if not all of next week! Well the full moon is over, should have the week end off, its supposed to be a little rainy but ill still be out if its not pouring. Might have to rely on the tree umbrella to keep the camera dry, dont know why but I have a good feeling my season might just end well. I will be hunting the Buck I posted vids of unless another shooter gives me opportunity. If that hunt dosent go well I may move the stand a bit after the hunt in the same area though.
Well no dice! 3 Bucks Saturday morn all together at 20 yards, to dark to even get a good look at them. 1 Doe later that morn. got skunked that eve, and 3 Does at 15 yards Sunday morn. Thunderstorm wash out sun eve.

Went out last night. Buck tag filled so lookin for does. Bumped 2 big ones on the way in. No shot and didn't see another one. Try er again next Sunday.
Ferg I seen a nice dead buck on wadsworth rd the backside of your spot. Right in front of the old former mink farm.

Well i went and sat this morning, was a good morning seen 8 doe and 2 1.5 year bucks. Will be back out this eve and tomorrow. Anyone else still hunting? I Got till jan1st here to put my tag on a deer, deer are starting to shed their anlters here now too, so getting a decent buck might be tough, ill try for a doe on the last day if that dont pan out.

Im still going at it and it happened again,,kinda frustrating! Monday eve I had a 135 in 9 point come in behind me and stay for the last 20 minutes of light eating honey suckle out of a snow covered frozen bush. I once again had no shot. I had to stay in tree an extra 30 minutes and sneak out another way. I have 2 hunts left this comming week end, given the chance I would pop a Doe to end it! Sorry guys, I have hunted my rear off, had shooters in range and could never shoot on any of them,,just not my year!
I hear ya on the not my year Crick Saturday I was 33 yards from a 180-190 muley with a small window on a steep creek bed I dead centered a branch. I did not compensate for the angle of my shot and should of held my 20 yard pin on him I'm still sick over it Sent from my ADR6350 using Tapatalk 2
Thats a bummer crick, hope ya get a crack at one on your last couple hunts. Yesterday was the last day here. i hunted new years eve and yesterday, seen a bunch of deer but nothing that i was looking too shoot, The doe's either had fawns or the one i wanted to shoot at thetime just didnt give me a good shot.
