Doug... I think you need to let Fitz know you're going to be the Team Captain (perhaps you already have). Anyway... while you're at it - how about asking him to change this thread's title to our Team Name. Like, Team 12 - Arrow Dynamics Official Thread

This contest and the recent trail cam pictures I've gotten are really getting me fired up. I might venture over into some other threads and talk some smack. :poke:

Yep, I'm getting pumped too. I'm going out to the property this weekend to check the camera that's been soaking for 2 weeks on a new deer path where we put out a mineral block, some Big&J, and molasses. They are hitting it hard but I think it's mostly does and fawns. I am also putting up a new stand and getting my mock scrape going for the year.

What's everyone's realistic total they think they can put up? I'm thinking 180 pts for me shouldn't be a problem. I have one buck on cam that is a 4 yr old and should be around 135-140". Should be easily killable but I have a few bigger ones I want to try to kill first.

If I shoot a buck and a doe I wont score any less than 175. I'm not going a little buck for a contest but any buck that is pope and young is going to get smacked. If we are close to winning and a within one little buck from taking the lead I may consider it.

I know im good for 50 and if i had to guess the two bucks that i have patterned pretty good are at least 115+ so maybe 160-170 wouldnt be to bad. But last year i had at least 3 bucks over 130 i just moved to a differnt spot but not to far so im hopin when rut shows up theyll start showing up again and be even bigger! Im pumped man!

Realistic I can kill a doe no doubt and a 100-120" deer for me really wouldn't be an issue at all as one of our property is a 2.5 year old factory and the chances of me killing a 130" or bigger is probably 50-50 shot. Now on the other hand if I'm on one of my public spots and a 120" deer walks by its gonna be really hard to pass up.

I've got a few bucks that could put me at 185 or so. The buck below is huge and the buck I've already shared would put me up there. When rut comes there are bucks in the area that could boost my score to 200-225. There are a few rare occasions ill see a booner that offers a shot. All assuming I get the 50 point bonus deer. Realistically, I'd say I could offer 185 points. Gotta catch up to them first though

Here's a couple targets so far. There's always those bonus bucks that will show up for a couple days during the rut.

Thanks, there are a few more that I know made it last year but I'm having trouble finding them on cam. They hit that 5-6 yr old age and found really good hiding spots... Lol

Here's two I'm trying to find from last year. The first one is G3 and he's the buck I targeted only last fall. Really wanted to kill him since I have multiple years of history. Couple others to add but don't have the pics on my phone.

Yeah I hear ya. I've been chasing around big droptine buck. This will be the third year of actually knowing about him. He was a 135 eight with a five inch drop the first year we found his sheds and a 150 ten last year assuming his right side is similar to his left. He should be a monster this year. We've never seen him and don't have any pictures, just sheds we pick up in our woods every year.

Great trailcam pics guys. I wish I had deer like that around here in PA. I'm hoping I can score atleast around 150 points this year with a Kansas buck. I probably won"t shoot a doe but if we are anywhere close to winning this thing I won't pass one up.
