Chris from Ohio. 33 married and have a 5yr old son that's loves to be outdoors with me. I'll be hunting multiple farms and leases totaling around 5,000 acres. I've been good for a buck and doe in the past, but targeted one buck only last year and ended up not shooting anything with a bow. Filled the freezer with a couple does late season muzzleloader. Hunting one specific buck only was the hardest thing I've done while hunting along with passing up multiple 130-140" bucks. This years a different story. Even though my target from last year is still running around this year, I'll have my sights set on 3-4 bucks. First one to give me a shot will go down. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Ok season for me starts Sept 12th here in Carolina. Then in Virginia season opens Oct 3rd. Mostly open season so I may lead off with a doe since the second deer is only worth 50 points. Currently I have no shooters on the cameras but that's normal as they don't start showing up till last week of Oct when they start looking for girls. I hunt every weekend I can and will take several vacation days early Nov late Oct.
season for me is sep12-jan3 but like I said I'll miss the first week or so while being out west. Once I get back I will be hitting it hard. Early season I plan on knocking down a lot of does so my pup can get plenty of tracking practice, that reminds me if anyone needs some tracking help practice within a few hours of Lake Geneva, Wi this spring feel free to reach out for some help!!!
Correct, only one bonus deer. The bonus deer can either be a second buck or a doe, but you only get one bonus deer and it is only worth 50 points, regardless what it is or what it scores if it's a buck. Better hope to kill the bigger buck first EDIT: For the signature, try downloading it from the link to your desktop and then uploading it in the signature section of your profile. Once you do that, there is an "insert signature" button just below the signature edit box.

Ok guys, I had issues with the signature too. Use the link below, I had to make it smaller so it would be under the size limit. Save it to your desktop and then upload it from your computer using the upload signature image option in the signature section of your profile. Then there will be an "insert signature image" button somewhere below the signature preview box.
My season in PA runs from Oct 3-Nov 14 and then late season from Dec 26-Jan 9. I also take my bow during our 2 week gun season. I spend 3 weeks in Kansas starting the end of Oct during the rut.
