Sorry copper. Actually you're looking a lil pale. You might be coming down with something. I think the appropriate thing to do is stay back and send your best wishes and apologies with your wife. It'd be terrible to pass something on to the bride and groom on their special day.

Jeep, haha. I would if I wasn't going to be gone the following week. Hoping doing this selfless deed will turn my luck around a bit.

Go get one, Chris! Thanks for the encouragement guys! I will be hunting hard this weekend and then taking off at least 2 days next week and the week after that depending on the weather. I'm also thinking of taking off the entire Thanksgiving week, hopefully that's not too late. I have 13.5 days of vacation left so I have plenty of time to be methodical about when I hunt. I know we've put in the work, food plot got cleaned out, minerals got nailed all year, and we've got deer on camera everywhere. I know exactly how Justin felt going 3 years without a buck because that's the exact same situation I'm in. My patience might be running thin but my perseverance isn't, hunting is just something I never give up on.

Headed to my Illinois farm, had originally planned a hang and sit but it's so warm I don't want sweat up the area so I think I'll move my ground blind a little and sit with that. Cam check this morning was very disappointing to say the least but saw a ill monster 1/2 mile away on drive home on a doe. I'm gonna go sweat it out and see how it goes

The landowner whose property I hunt in Virginia sent me picture today. There were 10 deer in the food plot right in front of my stand enjoying the clover and chicory. Looks like the muzzle loaders are pushing them back into that hollow. Low pressure as we only hunt once a week and only with bow. Down side is I won't be back there for a mother two weeks. Up side is my cousin will so maybe he will get a day walker, provided he stops whacking the little guys.

Where I'm planning on hunting this weekend. I know he's a little on the young side, but he'd be my biggest. Gonna have a hard time resisting. Never should've gotten a camera.LOL

Well I put a buck down Saturday at 10 am. I thought it was the one from above. He came in doggin' a doe, I drew back when he turned broadside. I realized it wasn't him but a 2 YO that i have pics of. I couldn't stand passing him.LOL.
Well at least that pretty boy will have another year to grow if he makes it through the gun season. I'll get him measured and get it up on the board fellas. Just seeing deer gets me giddy. It was a good day Saturday. Deer were every where.
And by the way. Smoked all my gear and clothes the other day. Had several Doe's down wind and they never even flinched. I'll never buy another bottle of scent killer. :tu:

Congrats!! Nice job! Did you get him entered yet? Team 12 is right in the middle of the pack, a few solid bucks and a few does and we will be near the top! I saw my first shooter on the hoof last night in my neighborhood and I'm taking tomorrow off and at least Monday off (maybe Tuesday too). I'll be hunting every day. Time to hit to woods!!

So... after giving my shoulder a 'rest' working on all this veteran and visitation ministry event stuff - I'm ready to HUNT! The wind is wicked here today or I'd be in the woods - tomorrow is doctor appointment upstate - Saturday it is ON! I'll be hunting in Amos's killing tree stand. It's been awhile since anyone has hunted it - so hopefully it'll be 'fresh'. I'm looking forward to contributing to our team score! It's been a long 3 year drought... but I'm hoping that stand will be kind to me too.

You get 4 mass measurements on each side. Need one more for the left side. You will have 2 measurements the same for H3 and H4

Add another 2 4/8 to your score.

Even though he only has 3 points on the one side?

Thanks CLS, I just reread the scoring thread. I'll add it on the score card.

    Awesome! Congrats

Make sure to add the team name and number to score card :) (if it's listed, I can't see it on my phone)

I'll be out this weekend. Going to try for two all day sits. Most does are being bread right now as we are in the lockdown stage but hoping to catch one of my hit listers cruising between girlfriends. I'll be sitting in a stand between doe bedding areas and food.
