So far ive seen 4 does missed a opportunity at one guessed her at 20 yards right at dark and she was really 30 so clean miss right under her. Then seen a 4 point openin week and passed up a smaller 8 point saturday morning. Hope i dont regret it cuz dr said our kid can be here any day this week and if not hes inducing next thursday so i have a couple chances before that i hope i can at least put down a doe. Other then that a bunch of night time buck pics im hoping theyll get moving within the next week or two. Hopefully i can get myself to hunt a good handfull of times in the rut after my daughter gets here lol. But id really be happy just at least getting a doe so the season wasnt a complete waste and my wife wants deer meat lol.
Drew on a wood chuck on Saturday and my bow blew up. I'm waiting on parts now. They said it will be a few weeks.
Hey Hey Hey... Upped the draw weight on the bow 1 complete turn per limb yesterday and shot TEN arrows without any shoulder pain! Going to doctor's office on Friday - I should be in the woods on Saturday! I am pumped
Ok, so I am using my first vacation day for hunting tomorrow. I'll be hunting all day tomorrow, all day Saturday, and depending on the activity maybe some on Sunday. It's supposed to be overcast, rise in barometric pressure, and the moon will be visible at daylight, and the wind will be 5-6 mph.
I hunt tonight and tomorrow night but will be in a tree Saturday night threw Tuesday morning. Pretty pumped I plan on hanging my sets tomorrow afternoon since I have time before work. Weather looks great and have los of confidence going in.
