Official Sign-Up: 2010 Elk Contest

Well it might be a little early, but the next two and half months are going to come in a hurry! I know there are several guys on here who will be heading, or are already out west so lets start an Elk contest.

CONTEST SIGN UP DEAD LINE IS AUGUST 1ST

Rules will be mostly the same as the Deer contest. Pictures must be submitted with your harvest and the bow must be visible. All scores for antlers must be posted as well upon measurement.

Points:
Total gross score of Bull
200 Points for any Cow
If any bull's gross score is under 200" it will recieve the 200 point min.

Also, post up how many tags you will be recieving. I know some areas allow up to 3+ tags per year. With this, we can evenly distribute teams.

I would love to be on a team if I can count the elk foam targets that I shoot in 3D tourny's! We only have whitetails here!

I have an PM out to Justin to see if we can make it an offcial BH.com thing.

 

Two points come to mind: You can never have a "first annual" anything... you can have "inaugural" or "first in what hopes to be an annual event" or "first-ever"... but not "first annual". And Dr Pepper doesn't have a "." behind the "Dr" either. Those are the two most important things I learned in journalism school...



The second thing is that it's all a moot point because we did this a couple years ago, so it's not the first anyway. :D
