I agree it is just the luck of the draw. Some guys can shoot does, some can't. Some guys live in big buck states/areas, some don't. It's all for fun anyway. The more complicated the rules become, the less fun it can become. Just saying.

Why not use a "Handi-capping" system, each team must be made up of members from different regions, guys from ONE deer states will be evenly distributed amongst teams as well, etc. Just a thought, if people are really concerned about being handi-cap to their team. I'm almost a handi-cap because I won't shoot a buck unless he's a good one, therefore I've passed on all the bucks I've seen in the last 3 yrs ( a couple I sort of wish I could have back ), but this year the deer are looking better than in years past, and I hope I can be a contributor again. I always put some does on the ground though.

i agree with vito, its the luck of the draw. if you get all teamates with deer packed areas. than great! if you get teamates with maybe not the best of hunting areas of are strictly big buck hunters, who cares! Its just all fun. sure its a competion and you want to win but if you dont who cares.

the rules are great in my eyes

It's the luck of the draw... Life isn't always fair.

I still think does "water" the contest down anyhow.

    Just my point of view...

Seriously...this is supposed to be fun. Vito is right on. If your ultimate goal is to be the winner of an online contest, you might want to try and find some greater motivations;)

Justin, If one of our team members is only allowed one deer tag (Schultzy) can we take an extra doe on his behalf?

Justin, just a thought ...question I guess.. for us guys that live in states where we get 1 or 2 deer tags only...versus guys that live in states with a buck tag or two and then multiple doe tags... Since does bring 50pts a piece.. and some of us cant get doe only tags.. What about a second buck kill counting as 50 pts like a doe does.. in other words if we get a second buck allowing that to work as the same reward as getting a doe? Just a thought .. no worries if you dont like the idea.. just thinking about states like mine versus many that have ample doe tags available..
