it was a liver lung and liver hit. the angle is decieving, the angle suprised me too, buddy had buck fever. No wars here. Just dont want the team to hate me when i shot 2 antlerless deer and joe shot one and we cant score any points.
just make sure that you get pics of your next deer according to the rules and then NO ONE can dispute them. 2 pics with all of the requirements and you are all good
please and thank you! just dont throw points on the bored when you guys havent met the picture requirements! and dont forget only one doe entry too
Bit of day dreaming and wishful thinking. But if a hunter were to pull off a double would two pics with both deer and hunter/bow suffice or would we need two with each individual deer for 4 total pics?
I see the "Official" and Alternate entry threads are closed, is there a handicap clause? LOL Enjoying the contest from afar... first one I've missed since the concept started, elsewhere.
Can we count a second buck kill as our doe pts of 50...??? or do we have to shoot a doe to get the 50pts? A lot of us guys have multiple tags and are hunting multiple states some of which that don't give out doe only tags or extra doe tags... like a lot of guys get in the midwest. I personally hate to burn up a Buck tag, especially one that costs me well over 400.00, I pass does up ALL the time because of the tag systems out here. If I could get a doe only tag I'd be doe tagged out in the early season every year. It would be nice to be able count our second buck (if we were fortunate enough to get one) as our doe credit.
I was wondering the same thing. I just got my bow a few weeks ago and just started hunting this weekend. I recently registered for the site. If it's too late, no big deal, I'll keep an eye out for the thread next year.
Ok so what if I shoot a buck and it was found by another hunter that hunts the land this past weekend? It was a week later and so I was wondering if its allowed to count or what I need to do? It might not the the same deer, but if it is then does it count? Thanks!!
Did you register the deer with your DNR? You might also want to check to see if their is a time limit? I was looking in the OK regs and they said a deer must be registered within 24 hours after leaving the hunting area. Good luck! T
Peak, I called the warden in the county that it was shot in and he told me to tag him on my open buck tag and it would all be good. So he is legally tagged and at the taxidermist. Thanks for the response!
