Pretty much this. There are a hundred different ways to cheat this contest, but when it comes down it, this contest is just about fun, meeting new people and enjoying some fellowship and little friendly competition.

What if and I mean “What If”? A hunter accidently shots a farmer’s cow. Now remember this is just a “What if” question. But, does the cow count as 50 points too? Just saying.

No 50 points but one hell of a bbq party at your place if you get one! I'll make the drive down!

I'll be tempted this year, since the neighbor doesn't have much since, or care, when letting his cattle graze on or off his property. I found several cow skulls on my property, so who knows. This will be be my 2nd year hunting this ground. If I get one, perhaps I'll bring the meat and join you all for the annuall meeting and shoot. lol

You have to list all the measurements. If you can type the measurements into your phone, then surely you can type them on your computer right? ;)

Two years ago on property I hunt one of the cows got "left behind". When I told the farmer it was out there he replied "shoot it I have already wrote it off to dead loss".... I never saw the cow again. But you never Know this is a new year...

newb to scoring, is it ok to cut the rack in one piece off at the skull and measure it? Or do you take the measurments while the head and rack are still in tact?

You score it connected to the rack so that you can measure the spread between the antlers.

yes it is ok to cut the rack off the skull in one piece. just make sure you don't "oops" and break the rack in half.

Ok yeah I knew you had to measure the spread so I know to cut the horns and skull plate in between them off all together so the rack remains one piece. Thanks guys.

cmon guys lets not start a war here.
also suburbanstandout your first video is either a terrible shot or you completely missed that deer.
I downloaded that video and ran it frame by frame and that arrow is on top of her back towards her rear.
No one is hating on you because you may have shot 2 deer in 3 days what they are saying is the video and photo quality is not good and most did not meet the simple requierments of this contest.
2 pics of you, your bow and your deer all together. Or a video of your hunt and the recovery.
    eitherway congrats on your hunt
