Huh, I would feel a lot more pressure to shoot a deer if I only had half of our normal season

 

The pressure is there. But it motivates me to scout and hunt hard.

 

So what are the actual season dates?

 

Mine is November 10 - 20. I can't remember the dates for the early season.

Holy cow that is a short season. Ours will be from September 1st to November 15th or so, then from late November till January 1

 

Early archery is the longest deer season, lasting about a month.

 

That still just seems so short, I am having trouble wrapping my mind around how short that is. Lol I'm used to having as much time as want/need to get a deer or two

Where are you hunting and when does your season start?

 

No scouting today. Woke up feeling under the weather.

 

September 1st to December 31st. I'll be hunting all season long whenever I can.

 

I'm about to go shoot my bow and then trim some shooting lanes for my stands.

No scouting today, due to a stomach bug. I did start to feel better about an hour ago. So while running my wife her purse that she forgot, I stopped by my local pro shop and had them twist my string, due to the string settling. I'm not sure how I'll be feeling later this afternoon, but I might go out and work on my center shot and finish that.

 

Pretty good. I'm shooting 40 arrows a day to get ready for a big 3D shoot I have the end of the month as well as deer season.
