    Man Guys, I have 8 sits in now since opening day, all different stands. And only 1 of those sits I have seen deer. I don't know whats going on this year, but it is different. You guys having any trouble locating deer?

    Only been our three sits. Seen deer on 2/3, when I didn't it was pouring rain.

    Im going to just keep moving around, keep hunting acorns. I'll find something soon enough. Im just not ready to start dumping corn yet.

    I missed a doe this morning, had 2 spikes and a doe come thru. Decided to take the doe, and had her at 10 yards. She was acting very spooky, then started walking away at a fast pace trying to keep up with the bucks. She finally stopped and I guessed 40 yards. She ducked at the shot and I shot right over her back. Went checked arrow even though I know I missed and ranged it, she was just under 35 yards. Til next time.

    I knew you'd put one down soon. Corn came down today on my farm so things should get better there. Looking for a buck but I'm being picky this year.

    Some of the most deer I have ever seen on stand is the next 2-3 days after they cut corn. Will you get a chance to hunt Monday? Should be some good hunting

    Probably not, possibly Tuesday though. Honestly I'm already looking forward to getting onto my other two properties starting Halloween, much better buck potential there. And then Ohio the first weekend of November.

    I've been getting rained on since 1230. 3 different hourly forecasts had it ending by 1 oclock. My hope was and is that when it quits they will come for acorns.

    Just had settlement on my new house last night. So this month I may not get to hunt as much due to moving in and working on the house. But told the wife come November I'm done with house and need every thing done by then, so I can hunt the rut. So I got a month to get it all done. I did get to dump a bag of corn out on the new property and put a camera out to see what's hiding in the woods there.
