Nice I like it! The last 2 bucks I shot I got euros done. The wife likes them more then mounts, and will use them as decoration around the house

I like them but for the right bucks I'd much rather a shoulder mount. Seems like euros have a tendency to get broken at my house.

My yard is full of deer tonight. Seen three different bucks and a pile of does, all in bow range of my deck.

Nice buck. I'm gonna put a cam up tomorrow. I've got a good bit of time on my hands to play around at the house now

It's fun to use cameras, when you see what is really running around. The first time you get a pic of a big buck running around right in front of your stand, and your hunting a different one. That always sucks

Haven't seen a MD thread this dead in a while! Anyone still out? I have one more chance at that big 8 this Saturday, gun opener with the bow. Then the rest of the season I will be hunting with the kids.

Havent been out since last tuesday (didn't see a thing). Been too busy getting the roof done on a shed I'm building, then getting ready for the holiday this week. Having both sides over for dinner on thanksgiving, should be nice. I will most likely head down to Pokomoke SF on saturday with my dad for the gun opener. Hoping to see a buck or two that he's been chasing and maybe get a doe for the freezer.

This time of the year my hunting starts to slow down. I like to wait for those perfect, cold and crisp mornings to go out - or snow.

I tell you what guys! The bucks were moving for me on Saturday morning! Between 7 and 9 I had 9 or more different bucks come thru just seeking, not chasing a single doe. This happened for over 2 hours, there were bucks coming from every direction and running every thicket just looking for does. There was 2 big 10 pt in the group and the first one came by at 25 yards and I stopped him. I was already drawn, when he stop I rushed the shot and the same time he turned towards me and I shot right in his arm pit from the front of him. It sucks but it was a clean miss. Got a second arrow on and pulled back, but by this time he started walking back in the thicket straight away with no shot. Saw a huge 10 pt about 45 minutes later but never could get a clear shot, so lost my chance at shooting many other bucks that I would have gladly shot because I was so focused on try to get a shot at the big 10.

During all the action I had a huge coyote come in the middle of the bucks and they could have cared less he was there. He ended up spotting me as I peeked around the tree, and took off. With all the bucks running around, it reminded me of a pack of dogs. They didn't care about each other, just were the next doe was. I grunted at several of the bucks and none of them ever look up from the mission they were on. It was craziest/best hunts I have had in all my years of hunting! End up seeing 13 deer in total.
