Thanks Ruger. I dropped him off on my way home at the butcher so I can't score him for a few days. 3 does came in at 630 and I was ready to shoot but kept hearing crunching leaves. Then this guy comes in pestering them. 23 yards shot slight quartering to. Blew through his shoulder, and out the liver. Tracking job was about 125 yards. He's a 9 with a brow kicker. No just a skull cap. I shot a larger 10 last November that I didn't mount. Not that I don't appreciate how nice they are but I'm 25 and only want 2 or 3 mounts my whole life. Here's a clearer pic. Sent from my 0PJA2 using Tapatalk
I want one a year. Usually doesn't happen though. If you haven't already skull capped him I've got a buddy with beetles who will clean/degrease/bleach the skull for a euro for $40. Won't lose all the nose bones and get brittle like boiling them does.

That's what we're hoping. Been taking this trip for the last 4 years or so, with the exception of last year. Always a good time.
Good luck in Ohio, I going to make a trip out there one of these years. Been telling the wife I going to go out for a week for the last 3 years but something always comes up.
