Going to my white marsh property this Afternoon for the first time. Let's see if I can drop that big boy tonight.

Had to change plans at the last minute when I double checked the wind. Hunted over three big white oaks on a swamp at my Norrisville property, saw two big mature does and a red fox.

Ruger are you holding out for a buck now or will you take more does? I was buck only, but with the colder temps I may shoot either.

Guys, I am thinking about hunting a southern MD public land spot on Tuesday morning. I won't be able to scout on the ground, just map scout. I heard Seneca Creek State Park can be crowded during gun season but during bow season during a weekday it is not bad....true? Thanks guys. Seneca Creek is about 50 miles north of my house so it should be an easy trip unless you guys can think of some better public lands to hunt in PG or Montgomery counties.

I was buck only as we'll but as it cools off I might shoot a few more does before the end of October gets here.

Hey boys! Just got back from Colorado. Unfortunately I didn't get one but had two incredible encounters. One was Friday morning with a 300 class bull. He came to about 23 yards. I was waiting for a perfect broadside shot and he never gave it to me. He realized something was up before he took that last step I needed and bolted. I'm kicking myself now for not pulling the trigger but rather that than wounding and never finding him. Oh well...that's hunting.

I will be getting in the woods the coming weekend.

Great job on the buck, and you the first to take a buck for the battle of the states! I think Maryland will have a great season this year.

Did you guys see the buck Victoryhunter put down yesterday! Nice looking buck and a crazy rack, I think he posted it in the bowhunting section.
