What do you guys think of the buck I posted? I'm thinking he's at least 3, possibly 4. His belly doesn't quite have the taper of a young buck. That pic was from about 3 weeks ago and he's already way above his ears. Thoughts? Score? Thanks!

No not yet. The only reason I have that pic is because another deer triggered the camera and caught him. I had to zoom in pretty far. My covert had stopped taking color photos and all daytime photos were whited out. I sent it back and am waiting for it to get fixed before I can put it back out. Flying blind the last 3 weeks before the season.

I just got permission on that piece of property I was talking about last week. It's in white marsh near rt. 40. Super excited because I have been watching a bachelor group the last few weeks and two of them are giants. Also no one else hunts it!

Do you hunt the quarry land? My company just built a bridge over 95 in perryville for them, some big deer in there.

Ok I was under the impression c.b. had all the quarry land lease. Now that you mention it I remember seeing the name of your club on one of those adopt-a-highway signs on belvedere.

Thats it, no one in the club knows how much land we got but I would estimate it around 1600 - 2000 acres. The president knows some body in the quarry and had the club there for around 30 years. I hear the quarry has problems with the other clubs around and kicks them out, or moves them to a different land all the time.

We have 45 members, but they get to bring kids, wives, husbands, and there kids under 18 hunt for free. It can be worse than hunting public land sometimes. Also we are always fighting trespassers. Bow season is great, very little bowhunters in the club and a lot of old members that don't hunt much.

That's the best! Couple years ago I was watching a field before the season started and the last hour of light had 13 bucks walk out half still in velvet and 3 of them where older then 4. Its a awesome site!
