Hey guys the season is right around the corner and I figured I'd make this thread.. For now we got about a month left here in Minnesota before the first opportunity for me to sit for a deer. So to start I figure we can talk about what we did to our vows or our property today until that season creeps up on us and we get to sit and wait for that big rack in the woods. Today I ordered a new plano parrallel limb bow case for my new z7extreme and ordered some new dampeners for it.
I challenge hunters to put the damn phone down and hunt, talk about it after the hunt. We all agree texting and driving is dangerous, paying attention to your phone instead of the hunt is limiting the chances for success.
I'm with you Sota. If a person is really into hunting he won't need a cell phone to report every 15 minutes via the internet. My opinion says it indicates ...hey look at me.....and little to do with hunting .If you're that guy , go for it.
Movement, sound, etc. I may be out of line I am constantly on the phone or computer for my job when I hunt part of the liberation is that I am unreachable, unplugged etc. People so desperately want to be a success when they hunt why do something that does nothing to help you and could possibly lead you to miss the shot of a lifetime?

I'm in stand right now...watching 11 sunburned kids squirm around here as all the parents round them up. Summer is good. The beach is good.....need more time to chill before hunting season begins.

Back to cell phones, first event at Ziggy's place last night a soccer game A few of the complaints about the new stadium, the wifi was slow, sketchy and evidently entry into the stadiums front entrance is slow because of all the idiots taking selfies in the entryway. Think about that the stadium is sold out over 64,000 people and people want to delay other people to self indulge and get a picture that they can upload to say look at me. It is a disease. Just try it pledge today to go one hunt this fall without touching a cell phone.
