    In the stand i moved yesterday! Its by a ditch crossing there using! Very quiet cold and frosty, no movement so far but it didnt start till late morn yesterday!

    My hunt is all but over. Had some turkey back behind me again, heard something breathing heavily and slowly turned. Was my uncles golden retriever and neighbors black lab. Milled around and went in the woods right where I expect deer to come out.

    Confidence is gone

    Beautiful morning. No wind, 34°. Only thing to make it better is to see deer and not the hunter that came in 10 min before shooting hours.

    On side note love that my daughter went trick or treating last night some good candy for the treestand

    Drove since 6:30 to get to my property to give my oldest the opportunity to take this big doe. She busted us as we were walking in. All we saw was whitetail bouncing. Hunts is probably over, but will wait and see. It's a beautiful day to skewer a deer too.

    Got settled in the blind at 7:00, and had a small buck come by at 7:15. WoodS are starting to come alive. 27* this morning, and no wind.

    Lol. Not 5 minutes later a big buck started coming in. My son spotted him before I did. He's in a ground blind I'm in a tree. He texted me.....Dad my heart is racing!

    After the dogs left I switched stands. Doubt I se anything in the next hour but can't be any worse. Still a long ways to go with the leaves on the trees, I'll be on vacation in a week and looks like its going to be thick still.
